Pestilence doesn't enjoy the feeling of pain despite popular belief. He's actually an adrenaline junky. Small paper cuts and bruises are annoying to him but large wounds that trigger the fight or flight reflex definitely fall under the enjoyable category.
He is known for doing stupid shit just to get a little high from it.
