Like Around the World in 80 Days, this is another miniseries I don't have anything good to say about. I read the Earthsea Cycle by Ursula K. Le Guin a few years ago, and I personally feel like this show was a disgrace to the books (I found the story and the acting to be pretty bad). It actually got a lot of bad write-ups from critics, and apparently Ursula K. Le Guin herself didn't like the series, calling it "a far cry from the Earthsea I envisioned".
But despite all this, I would recommend watching the show for yourself to see what you think.
