I just finished watching this series, and I don't think I could even tell you how great I thought it was. This show gives a lot of insight into what life was like in England during World War II, and focuses on some members of the Women's Land Army, this group working on the fictional Pasture Farm in the countryside.
If you're looking for a period drama that really shows what life was like at the time with some drama dished out, then this might be for you. I was actually sad when I had finished the last episode, because I didn't want it to be over so quickly.
