When I first heard this show was coming on television, I decided to watch it because I had read the book a few years before. I didn't remember a lot of the book, but I remembered the main idea of it, and I think this show mainly stuck to the book. I think the characters were a different in the show than they were in the book, but the storyline of the show was good.
I will say, though, this show is rated 'Mature' for a good reason. Yes, there was some sexual content in a few episodes, but the subject matter and what the killer was doing was unsettling. If you're interested in the show, you might want to look more into what it's about to see if it's something for you.
