Third Person Point of View

Alex, London and Jackson approached the Why Don't We house the next day. Each of them were experiencing different emotions: Jackson was excited - as usual - to see the guys; Alex was nervous because of all of the posts mentioning Jalex; London was, well, she was just London, but she was looking forward to seeing Jack and Alex together - she secretly shipped them too.

"Hey guys" Jonah said, opening the door before anyone could knock. They all smiled and waved, following him into the house. "We were just playing COD" Jonah explained. Surely enough, they found Zach, Daniel, Corbyn and Jack all sitting around the living room playing on the ps4.

"Oh no" London muttered as a grin formed on Alex's face. Jackson groaned beside her as Alex's nerves were quickly replaced with excitement and determination.

"What's wrong?" Daniel asked, not taking his eyes off of the television screen. London rolled her eyes at Alex and sat in the last empty chair. "Alex is weirdly good at video games. Like really good" Jackson explained, sitting on the floor.

"You wanna play?" Corbyn asked, holding out his controller towards the girl. Alex eagerly nodded her head and took the controller. She didn't know whether she'd be able to beat them or not, but she sure as hell wanted to try. She had gotten sick of beating London and Jackson over and over.

Since there were no free seats, Alex had to sit on the floor. She decided to sit in front of Jack, who was sitting on the couch, and leaned against his legs for support. She could have sworn she felt him tense up slightly, but it was so brief she thought it didn't happen.

"So, you think you can beat me, Summers?" Jack asked, taunting the blue haired girl. Alex turned to smirk up at Jack, narrowing her eyes. "Any time, Avery" she retorted.

Jack seemed surprised by her confidence, but recovered quickly with a smirk of his own. "Bring it on" he challenged. With that, the group started a new game. They only had five controllers, so it was currently Alex, Jack, Jonah, Daniel and Zach playing.

While the boys would yell in defeat or celebration throughout the game, Alex remained completely silent. Her face remained still, concentrating on the clicking of the buttons and the surroundings of her character.

Before long, Alex's team had won, meaning she had beaten all of the guys - even Jack. "Okay, that was a fluke" Zach defended, not believing Alex was actually able to beat them.

"Fine. Another round then?" Alex asked confidently. She smirked at the boys as they silently agreed. Four rounds of Alex winning later, they decided to give up on COD.

"Okay, So you're weirdly good at COD. But can you beat us in Rocket League?" Daniel asked, determined to beat Alex at least once. Alex chuckled slightly, taking her controller in her hand once more.

"Load it up" she said, her face returning to the screen. Despite the new determination filling the boys, Alex still managed to race past the finish line first, multiple times.

"I give up" Jonah groaned, throwing his controller to the side. Alex smirked as Daniel and Zach did the same. It seems they had finally gotten sick of being beaten so easily by Alex. However, Jack didn't seem to be so disheartened.

"One more game. But this time, I get to choose" Jack bargained, clearly wanting to beat Alex at something. Alex grinned up at him, knowing there was nothing he could choose that would make her loose.

"Be my guest" she said, gesturing towards the screen. Jack smirked slightly before getting up and changing the discs. Alex was slightly surprised when she saw the familiar set up screen of Just Dance, but smirked to herself. Jack didn't know this was one of her best games.

"I'm out" Jonah said instantly. He immediately threw the controller on the couch and stood up, moving to the side so he wasn't in the way. "Me too" Zach said straight after him, following suit.

Alex looked at them in confusion, wondering what they had against Just Dance. "Jack's really good at this. None of us can ever beat him" Corbyn spoke up, registering the confusion on Alex's face.

"I'll have to change that then" Alex said, smirking at the curly haired boy in front oh her. He raised his eyebrows in response, not believing she could beat him. "Oh, do One Thing!" London exclaimed, sitting up more in her chair.

Alex audibly groaned upon hearing this. "You know I hate One Direction" she complained, frowning at her best friend. London simply shrugged at her and smiled. Alex rolled her eyes as Jack selected the song London had chosen.

Alex took a deep breath, preparing herself. She had to beat Jack. As the song opened with a strange skit, Alex glared at London for choosing that song. However, as soon as the choreography kicked in, she was completely concentrated.

Usually Alex would stay concentrated throughout the whole song, not enjoying it as much as the others. This time was different, though. Alex couldn't help but smile when she had to stare into Jack's eyes as they walked in a circle. From there on, she let loose a little. Of course, she still concentrated on winning, but she had fun while doing it.

As the chorus began, Alex began dancing towards her friends, who she noticed had begun recording. She pulled a funny face at the camera before turning around again.

She had to admit, Jack was very good. He even made her laugh throughout it while still keeping up with the moves. If she wasn't having so much fun, she probably would have been too awkward to do some of the dance moves with Jack.

Before long, the song was coming to an end. Alex could feel her cheeks burn a deep red as she threw herself into the final pose - face-to-face with Jack. She awkwardly stepped back a little, her eyes still not leaving Jack's.

It was only when the room erupted in cheers that Alex looked at the screen. A grin burst onto her face as she saw the reuslts: she had won. Alex instantly began jumping around the room cheering.

"In your face Avery!" she yelled. Jack didn't say anything but Alex could see he wasn't being a sore loser; he still had a smile on his face. What she didn't see, however, was the slight pink flushed on his cheeks.
