You awoke to find that Sarah wasn't in the room with you. "Sarah?" You called. "Where are you?" You looked around. Sarah wasn't in the kitchen either. Or in the hallway, which you could see from where you were sitting. You grabbed your phone and looked to see if anyone had texted you. You had a missed call from Kathy and two messages from Sarah.Sarah- Sorry. Ryan (My Boss.) need to talk about some work stuff.
Sarah- I will be home as soon as i can.
You- Okay. sorry just woke up. I will see you soon.
Sarah- Okay. I will be home in about two hours.
Hey! Its Kathy. I was just checking in. I texted you but the messages never went through. I saw the stuff online. Is Sarah okay? Are you okay? Please call me back.
You listened to the message Kathy sent you and realized that that is probably why Sarah's boss wanted to talk to her. You felt horrible and immediately called Kathy back.
You- Hey Kathy. Can you talk?
Kathy- Yeah. I am so sorry about the pictures.
You- Yeah Sarah showed me them this morning.
Kathy- Yeah, apparently Ryan called her in to talk. Guess he saw them to.
You- I feel so bad. I didn't want this to blow up. She had a bad night. I was a little drunk and at first I told her that it wasn't what she wanted, but then I did it again. I feel so stupid.
Kathy- Don't feel stupid it's not your fault. Maybe you could try making it up to her. Maybe cook dinner or something. Or order take out. (She laughed) I just wanted to know you were okay.
You- Yeah. I think I am going to be fine. I just don't know about Sarah.
Kathy- Don't worry about her. She has taken harder hits before. Listen I have to go. But call or text me if anything changes.
You- Okay. Talk later maybe or tomorrow. Whichever comes first. (You both laughed)
Kathy- Okay. Bye.
She hung up the phone, leaving you just sitting there to pounder in your thoughts. You started thinking about Sarah, and what was happening with her boss. You thought maybe you had caused it. You pulled a cigarette out of your bag and lit it. Walking to the back porch so her house didn't smell like smoke. You opened the door and sat on one of the chairs Sarah had on her patio. You took a long drag. Holding it for a second then letting it out. You coughed. You rubbed your face as you normally do when your stressed. You smoke and rube your face or neck because they get really red and hot. You started thinking about what Kathy said. Maybe I should cook dinner. It might give us a chance to talk. You decided that you would. Grabbing your keys and purse walked out the door and getting into your car where you threw your cigarette into the cup holder. You pulled out of the driveway you drove down the street to the nearest grocery store getting what you needed. You decided on making Chicken parmesan. You grabbed the chicken, bread crumbs, butter, pasta, and whatever else you needed and payed. You kept getting weird looks from people. As if you did something wrong. As if you broke up a marriage. And you guess in people's eyes you kind of did. No one really cared that Holland cheated. They cared that you slept with Sarah Paulson. Sarah freaking Paulson. You payed and got out of the store as fast as you could. When you were packing the groceries into your car a woman came up to you and said. "You are a homewrecker." and walked away. You didn't want to deal with anymore people. Getting into your car you let a tear fall from your eyes. You didn't want to cry, but you were never faced with anything like this. It was always Flying the plane, you had to focus on that. Now you couldn't and you had to face reality. You had to faced what was right in front of you. You wiped the tear away as you pulled out and drove back to Sarah's.
As you pulled into Sarah's driveway you noticed Hollands car sitting on the side of the road, and the door to Sarah's house was slightly opened. You picked up the groceries and pushed the door opened the rest of the way. "Hello?" You called. You set the groceries down and walked down the hallway. "Holland?" you called as you pushed opened the door to the bedroom. You saw her sitting there boxes surrounding her. "I'm sorry. I just wanted to get my stuff." She was crying. "I didn't want Sarah to have to do it for me." You sat down next to her. "Holland. It's okay. Let me help. I don't want you and Sarah on bad terms. Please stay for dinner?" You pleaded. "I am making chicken parm." She laughed. "You know she quit her first job because she couldn't spell parmesan." You picked up a pile of shirts and put them into one of the boxes. "I am sorry for yesterday as well. I assume you saw the stuff online?" You asked. "Yeah, I did. You know what I am going to stay for dinner if you don't mind. Maybe i can help cook." You gave her a big smile. "That would be amazing." You said standing up motioning her to come with you. You walked into the kitchen where you put the food and started to make it. "Here can you get a pot and start the pasta?" You said handing her the box. "Sure." You and Holland started everything working almost rhythmically. It took about two hours of complete silence, but you managed not to burn down the house. You asked Holland to make the table as you put everything onto plates. Your phone rang, meaning you had gotten a text message.
Sarah- I am pulling into the driveway.
You- Okay. I have a surprise inside.
Sarah- Oh? Okay.
You had finished setting everything up as Sarah walked into the house. Holland was sitting at the table so Sarah could only see her back. "Hey. I am sorry about not telling you I was leaving. Whos here?" Holland turned around. "This was the surprise?!" She asked. "Listen we all need to talk. She came to pack up her stuff. I invited her to stay for dinner so please just do this. I don't want this big mess anywhere or anymore." You said as Sarah took her seat. Sarah looked at Holland then back at you. 'Why?' She mouthed. 'Because you need to talk.' You turned back to Holland. "So Sarah lets talk."
