Tyler's POV

The car ride started out silent, with just music in the background. But it was a comfortable silence, not awkward. Which I was thankful for.

Ruby spoke up, "So, where are we headed Ty?" She asked. I love when she calls me Ty, it is just so adorable.

"Tonight, we are going to see a movie and then get some food. Sound good?" I asked adjusting my eyes from the road, to her, to the road again. She smiled and looked at her lap.

"Of course. What movie are we seeing?" I felt her look over at me.

"The movie you've been wanting to see for awhile now.." I said, glancing at her and making direct eye contact. I looked back at the road and felt her lightly slap my arm.

"NO WAY! Inside Out, Ty?! I've been wanting to see it so bad!!!" She sounded so happy. Therefore, I got happy.

"I know you have, that's why we are going to see it silly." I said, turning into the movie theater and getting a close parking spot. I got out of the car and quickly jogged to her side, to open her door and help her out of the car. She grabbed my arm and we walked into the theater. There were not that many people here, which was good. "Two for Inside Out, please." I said politely to the worker. I was trying to get my money out of my wallet with one hand because I did not want to move my other arm because she would stop holding onto it. But, she caught on and moved off my arm anyways. Ugh.

"That'll be $15.98, sir" The worker said, I paid and he handed us the tickets. I grabbed them and we walked off, towards the theater.

"Do you want any snacks, Ruby? I'm getting popcorn which I know you don't like so get whatever you want, okay?" I said, looking over at her. Her eyes focused on the theater menu for a second while I ordered the popcorn, but then she looked at me.

"I'm good, I'm not that hungry right now. Thanks though, Ty." She said, laying her head on my shoulder. I smiled big and wrapped my arm around her waist. This is seriously amazing, I don't want it to end. I looked down at her and she looked up at me. I started to lean in before getting interrupted.

"One medium popcorn, here you go." The worker said, holding the popcorn over the counter. Ruby removed herself from me and I grabbed the popcorn. I also twisted and grabbed a Redbull from the cooler and we headed to checkout. I paid for the stuff and we went to the ticket guy, to let us in.

"Hannah, is that you?" The guy asked, while Ruby was a little behind me getting napkins. She looked up.

"Mikey? Hey! How have you been?" She said, walking over to the guy. I don't know who he is.

"I've been good, you?" He said, walking towards her and opening his arms for a hug. She welcomed him and they hugged for a second. He let go and took a step back, looking at her. "You look great, Hannah." He said, slightly biting the inside of his cheek. Jealousy instantly boiled inside me. Great.

"Aw, thanks Mikey." Ruby said, grabbing onto my arm which made me smile. She made sure this Mikey guy knew she was here with me. Mikey looked at me and nodded. He reached out for our tickets and pulled them apart.

"You guys are in theater 6, enjoy the movie. It was nice seeing you, Hannah." He said as we walked away.

"Nice to see you also, Mikey! Enjoy your night!" She called out, she is so kind I swear.

"Who was he?" I asked, looking at her. I don't want her to let go of my arm, it just feels great for her to be touching me at all.

"He went to college with me, he was in a few of my classes. He's nice." She said, letting go of my arm to climb up the theater stairs to pick a seat. I always forget she had a whole different life in college, without me. We both went to the same college for two years, until I dropped out for music. She continued for two more years and she has a degree in public relations. She really loved college, but I hated that she wasn't by my side for those two years. It was probably the toughest two years of my life since I met her when I was 16.
