As Liam wrestled with a rider, Theo rushed in and pushed the rider into a closet. They jam a crutch under the doorknob in an attempt to seal him inside. They smiled in relief.
"Don't smile just yet, guys!" Kim shouted as she ran out of a room and slid across the floor, banging into the wall across from the room. "These cowboys just don't give up!"
The two boys scrambled to get up, their arms flailing around and their feet slipping on the slick tiles. They got up to their feet just as Kim ran through them, leaving them behind in the dust.
"Girlfriends don't leave their boyfriends behind, Kim!" Liam shouted as he ran after her.
"They're everywhere!" Theo shouted.
"Good," Liam replied.
"Really? You really need me to remind you that getting captured by the Ghost Riders isn't gonna help you save your friends?" Theo reminded.
"We're both getting caught. You can do it while you're running. I'm going down fighting," Liam declared as he roared.
Theo sighed before he roared. The Ghost Riders lined up at the end of the hallway. Liam growled, flashing his eyes and fangs, and rushed toward them. Theo hesitated but quickly followed after him. Kim sighed before checking how many rounds she had left. She grimaced. She didn't have enough to take all of the Ghost Riders down. She reloaded her guns and began to shoot at them.
"I feel like those two like each other more than Liam likes me," she muttered as she clicked one of her empty guns.
"Not true!" Liam yelled.
"Gross!" Theo shouted.
Kim threw her empty gun on the floor, then used her other gun until it was empty. She reached behind her back and grabbed her electric rod. She flicked it out to the side like a whip, the latches extending.
"I guess it's time for me to get psychical," she muttered.
She ran toward a group of Ghost Riders, and just when they aimed their guns at her, she bent down and slid across the floor, her back barely touching the tiles of the hospital. Her electric rod was crackling as she slid through their legs and electrocuted them. Theo was whipped by a Rider. It knocked him down, but he was unharmed. He grabbed a bone-saw from a pile of instruments on the floor. He shoved it into the Rider's throat. The Ghost Rider fell and bled out on the floor.
Another Ghost Rider appeared and began to choke Theo. It pushed Theo to his knees. Liam grabbed the other Rider's gun and it went off, shooting the Rider attacking Theo and knocking him off. Liam fired the gun at the Ghost Rider in front of him. They two were about to share a bromance with a fist bump, but they noticed more Ghost Riders coming down the hall.
"Let's go!" Theo shouted, shoving Liam into the elevator.
Kim was in front of Liam, holding down the fort. She was twirling her rod, egging the Ghost Riders on.
"What are you doing?" Liam asked Theo.
Theo angled his neck to look at Liam with a smirk. "Being the bait." Then, he turned to face the Ghost Riders with Kim as the doors began to close with Liam inside.
"No!" Liam shouted.
The last thing he heard was Theo's roar and the last thing he saw was Kim's fiery hair and her soft smile, mouthing I love you.
