Clashing Battles, Ice cold buckets, and School Tattletales
I'm watching a Ace Attorney remake and it's this brings me back to a battle. The reason my STAR/science teacher liked me so much. The battle that brought an undeniable burning longing for the truth inside me.

My first Battle
I wasn't prepared for this battle. But I was a witness as to the "crime." Technically, I call it foul play.
Here's the gist:
A rebellious student named Elizabeth, (Irony, huh?) was sitting in the teachers chair before 1st hour class the day before. An 8th grader named Marie was behind her, holding onto the chair.
Since my teacher wanted her to get off, she opposed. He said some offensive stuff to her and she stood up to object. He, apparently, gave silent signals to Marie to pull the chair backwards. Elizabeth attempted to sit down and fell to the floor. A couple early students saw no signal of any sort. Marie pulled it so she could lean on it. Elizabeth (her) says she saw the teacher point at Marie.
Okay, let's just call her Liza, it's getting confusing telling the difference between me and her. Alright, here we go.
I re-enter the classroom, from 6 lockers down, setting my pile of books down. I had a bit of time to flirt with Pascal, so I did. He was lying on two seats, his head on one, his tiny spine on the other, with his eyes closed. He had a couple large cuts on his face.
"Earth to Pascal. You there?"
He nodded, moaning. "Dude, you okay?" I ask.
"I...feel like I've just felt the full fury of an actual gang instead of three teenagers, against me and two other guys. Give me a sec."
He sighed, grabbing the head of the chair to sit up. "Alright, it's not gonna help with me moaning about it. Thanks for the concern though." He was serious.
"Damn... you must've got roughed up pretty bad. What happened?"
He recounted the story. "What about yo-."
"YOU GAVE HER THE SIGNAL!" Liza screamed. I looked back. If there was something to describe her, it was a full-fledged drama queen.
"Looks like class is about to begin." I groaned. Seems there was going to be a battle. and since there is no definite evidence against the either of them, I'd call it a draw.
Every classmate that was standing went to their seat and the teacher starts his lesson by telling us his day. Which to Liza, seemed like the perfect opportunity to bring up a replay of this morning.
"I SAW YOU GIVE HER THE SIGNAL!" She screamed.
"Look, I swear on my parent's grave, I didn't give Marie any type of signal." He said, annoyed. When he swears on his parents grave, you know he's telling to truth. He loved his parents.
"Is there anyone who can back up your story? No!"
"I can." I said, standing up. All eyes are on me, no pressure. Remain discreet. "I was at a position over there with a classmate," I pointed to a stool near Pascal but not close enough to draw attention to him. "where I saw the event take place, not very far away."
I turn my eyes to Liza.
Alright, you didn't see the exact moment, so just bluff it."When you went to sit down, I saw no words coming from his mouth, nor did his hands move. In fact, it was Marie's own action to pull back the chair." This seemed quite pointless but it actually felt good. Adrenaline was coursing through my veins. I pointed forcibly at her. "What do you say to that, Lizabeth?"
