June 17th: STAR
I'm really starting to question whether my mom hates me now. All because I (or my brother, preferably) lost the iPhone charger cord. I offered to buy her a new cord, but she thinks I'm admitting to the crime itself, which is a totally different story. I'm starting to fear my mom now. We're going to the planetarium later.
First hour?
I think it's first hour, but we were too busy watching Star Wars: Episode IV. I sat by The Squirrel.
Go on, ask him. I motivated myself. Since we were going to different restaurants as a team, I wanted to see if there were any other opportunities. I drew a deep breath. Here we go, baby steps.
"What restaurant are you going to?" My stomach suddenly clenched in a nauseous mix of nervousness and hunger.
"Wendy's, you?" Crap, that means we're on different buses!
"Micky D's." I smiled. He laughed.
Planetarium Lobby: 3rd Hour
Since I didn't bring money for the gift shop, I browsed around the lobby. My stomach started to grip tighter. I thought about every single way to approach it and deal with his response in a mature manner. We finally entered the Planetarium and my lilac shirt started to glow intensely, due to the black light.
"Oh my god, Elisabeth's shirt is glowing!" Kayla shouted
"Let's say, I have a bright personality!"
Everyone starts laughing and oohing as their clothes started to glow.
We sat in these seats that were meant for you to lie back. I sit next to Marina and the show begins. My thoughts during the ride home were more ways on how to approach the subject.
Sorry for a crappy chapter. I'm working on part 2 of the surprise, I PROMISE it'll happen during school tomorrow.
