Torn Friendships Part 3
Ella
Ella and I met at the swing where Ember tried to knock me unconscious. Ella flipped her long blonde hair and adjusted her maroon glasses. Her grey eyes bore into mine.
"Elisabeth, was it? I've heard a lot from you."
I laugh softy, for I was still catching my breath. "Hasn't everyone?"
She smiles slyly. "Mostly.
She introduced me into cotton candy and taffy, which was great. But as soon as she got a boyfriend is when the arguments between Me, Ella, him or both. started. Her boyfriend was not the nicest, considering he hanged with the "brotherhood."
The brotherhood was a cult of boys who thought they were bad-asses and terrorized every student within sight.
Now, the boyfriend was named Cody and the arguments always were about Cody or the influence of the brotherhood We sat near the nature trail on some bricks. Our final argument was just me and Ella.
"Elisabeth, you're just jealous that you don't have a boyfriend." She spat.
I sighed, but I was as expressionless as a brick. "Ella, I'm telling you for your own good. Cody is a bad person. Once a brother, always a brother."
She wasn't understanding me. Prior experience tells me if you have a boyfriend from the cult, you have some sort of insult insurance. Cody came from behind me.
"Why you yelling at my girl!? Ella, you've got to stop hangin' with these looney girls. They're f***ed up anyhow. "
"Look," I stood up, annoyed. "Tantrums are for immature children and I will not stoop that low. I'm going to go greet that new girl from California. Once you drop him and his antics, come find me."
I walked away, calm and clear. Brothers were never to be trusted. I was happy for her when she found Cody, but now he's just a bad influence towards her.
I walked up the hill. There was a girl who was wearing a black leather jacket and black jeans. Her long brown hair was uncombed. She seemed a bit lost.
"You looking for something?" I asked.
She looked around for the voice and looked up at me. She tugged nervously at her jacket.
"Oh, umm, yeah. Just a little lost." She muttered.
"Oh. I forgot my manners. I'm Elisabeth. And you are?"
She hesitated before answering. She looked like she was searching for something other than some help. I knew what it was.
Haha, cliffhanger! I feel so evil. *Evil laughter echo the imaginary halls*

Torn Friendships Part 4
Trust and Rivalry
She looked as if she needed someone to trust. Trust. Took me years to form, but it only take seconds for someone to break it.
"My name is Alexis." She hesitated. "Elisabeth, was it?"
I nodded, smiling slightly. "Umm... oh yeah! Welcome to Paint Creek. Probably've gotten the tour and all that junk, so..." I paused. I've been known around school for being the one to introduce new students due my open and optimistic personality. Or so they think. "I guess you can explore the playground yourself. If you need me, I'll be in the Upper El playground." Since we were 3rd graders we finally got the Upper El playground.
