Chapter 2: June 4th, 2014; 8:10 AM
Now, before I continue my entry for today, I'm going to introduce my crush, "The Squirrel." Simply because he's only 4" 10, and I'm 5'3 1/2. Plus, it's adorable and easy to remember.
Anywhale, (I meant that.) I'm in 1st Hour with my Science teacher, who is also my STAR teacher. (Talk about irony.) This punk of a kid named Sam, started accusing the other kid, Jared, of lying to the teacher about cheating on an astronomy test. It's frickin' astronomy, how could you possibly cheat on something we learned that prison I called elementary!?! The class began to break out of control.
"HEY!" I shout to get everyone's attention. I intended to be a prosecutor when I grow up, but somehow, I ended up on the wrong side of the argument. "Sam, what proof do you have of Jared lying?" I smirk, folding my arms.
"I have eye-witness testimony. Is that enough?" He shot back.
What an imbecile. "Tsk, tsk, Witness testimony does not a trial make, Sam. You don't have any solid proof?"
This is where The Squirrel jumps in. "Yeah, he's the one being a liar." I melted right around there. OH MY GOD, He agrees with me!?! The whole class choruses with the "Ooooo." Like someone got burned or is in trouble. I flash a thumbs up at him, and he nods back in reply.
"Elisabeth, stop flirting already or I'll get you in trouble" Silvia jokes.
I smile sweetly back at her. "Silvia, I love you dearly, but sometimes I just downright hate you." She laughs in reply.
6th Hour
This afternoon, we had a visitor come by. Quick pause, you know those kids who aren't stupid but just fall a bit behind on the curriculum? The teacher got pregnant and gave birth on Easter. She brought him in. His name was Lincoln and was just too adorable. Then, I started to faze out as I headed to my seat. How do women know how support life, in their belly, for nine months, and then go through labor for around eight to twenty-four hours?!? I continued to contemplate life, space and time as the class finished their statistics homework.
