The Frustration
The sound of the music was now in charge of the noise in my former dead silent room.
Putting my bag aside, I settled down on my bed and stared at the ceiling with no particular intention to do anything.
I wanted to ease my exhausted mind more than my body. The IT teacher got the best of me, I wish I hadn't told her that I was good at programming.
It had been 4 months since I joined the Photography Club, 4 months since Taehyung became my tutor and 4 months since we escaped our college to find a beautiful place where we found 2 jokers of our group sneaking around.
Lovely times, lovely days.
It sounds like I've moved away or I'm reminiscing something that happened a decade ago. Funny.
My gaze turned towards the window that showed me a small part of this world.
The skies started turning gray, clouds now forming to bless us with rain. I could picture thousands of people covering their heads and rushing to their support from the rainshower.
I thought it was winter now, why would it rain all of a sudden?
"Why is everybody so gloomy today?" A familiar voice interrupted my thoughts. B/N had now entered in my room without knocking or informing me, what a rude pumpkin.
"The clouds are crying and you're laying down here as if you're upset about something." He sat beside my exhausted figure, now stroking my hair slowly.
I didn't reply, I was too engulfed in the enjoyable state that B/N was providing me by stroking my hair. I loved it when people would ruffle my hair, it was such a small yet caring gesture and it's very relaxing as well.
"Too relaxed to answer huh?" He immediately chuckled afterwards. I just nodded in response, too lost to even make up sentences.
He's just stroking my hair and I'm in dreamland, it's been a rough day.
"As much as I enjoy doing this, I feel like somebody else should do this." He said in a very low voice. It wasn't too hard to grasp on what he's trying to indicate by saying that.
"B/N...." I freed myself and sat up straight, facing him with a poker face.
"Y/N, it's time that you get into relationship. I can't bear to see you like this while almost the whole college is walking around holding hands with their significant others. I know what you'll say, that you have friends to accompany you but I can see the loneliness in your eyes..." He knew what he was saying was affecting me, I hate how he's spilling so much truth. As much I agree with him, I don't think I'm ready yet.
I stared at nothing, hoping everyone would stop forcing their beliefs on me. B/N isn't the only one who's persuading me to get a significant other. The others are suggesting me too.
I'm not stupid, I can tell that they want me to get together with Namjoon and that's just because he's in the same club as me, he prefers me over anybody else and he's always by my side.
Wait.
He's been clingy a lot lately as well. I don't know if it's because he's genuinely interested in me or he's trying to get better at photography.
"Why don't you talk to Namjoon?" He suggested.
"He's the last person I want to talk to, right now." I stood up, walking towards the door but B/N's voice stopped me.
"I thought he was your friend?"
"He's my good friend yeah..." I couldn't think of anything more to say so I continued walking downstairs to make myself some tea/coffee/hot chocolate for this chilly weather.
Unfortunately, B/N followed me there too. He didn't seem to budge, he was determined to get some answers from me.
Joke's on him, I have nothing to explain.
"If he's your good friend then why don't you talk to him?" He sat down on the kitchen island. I heard shuffling and munching so I assumed he's just eating cookies.
"I talk to him everyday, you all persuade me to talk to him everyday." I crossed my arms.
"Did you make these? These are hella good." He continued stuffing his face with the cookies which, yes, I surprisingly made.
I hoped there would be some left for me but it doesn't look like he's gonna leave any. I knew this would happen, that's why I made an extra batch and hid it from where his eagle eyes could reach.
"Don't you know? We make you talk to him everyday because you both get along very well."
Do we? I guess we do, I never really gave it much thought but now that I think about it, he must be right.
"B/N, he must be busy, I don't want to disturb him just because I want to rant about you."
"Hey!" He gave a fake offended look and settled the jar of cookies aside, "I didn't do anything! Besides, he'll push away all his work when it comes to you. We've all witnessed it. Me and Hoseok saw the way he treats you."
"First of all, it's Hoseok and I, second of all, he doesn't give me special treatment. He treats everybody equally. Third of all, I don't want him to put his work aside for me, that'd ruin his time."
"Y/N, you don't get it. You should feel special because nobody wants to push aside their work for anyone but themselves because they are good at procrastinating." He coughed sarcastically at the end.
I raised my eyebrow at him. "You're the reason we're both like this, don't even get me started."
He rubbed the back of his neck and flashed me an apologetic smile.
"I'll talk to him, but I have homework to do." I started making my beverage.
"Save it for later, what will you do when you get bore—"
"B/N!!!"
I threw an apple at him and he ran away like a man wearing red, trying to escape the deathly wrath of a furious bull.
"Oh and I called Namjoon saying that Y/N wants to meet you so you'll have to go to his place in—" He glanced at the clock, "35 minutes." He wiggled his eyebrows mischievously, earning a collision of a ball with his forehead.
"What the fu— where did this ball come from?" He grabbed the football, eyeing it as if it was an otherworldly item.
Crossing my arms again, I replied.
"Mum bought this for defence."He huffed, putting the ball back where it was and walking back to his room, muttering.
"I'll need it more than you will because you hurt me more."
"I heard you, do you perhaps want a kiss from the football this time?"
This made him rush towards his room like Usain Bolt. But that would be an insult to him so let's just say that he looked like a dog running away from the electric fence because he got electrocuted after peeing on them.

I was actually referring to this at the end.
Since this is a viral video y'all must have seen it, it's on the internet after all.
PS - Namjoon looks adorable as heaven in that photo. Can we appreciate this lovely smol bean?
