The Notorious Youngster
The view outside my window was blurred out by the mist. I wiped it off, earning a wet hand on the way. I cringed at the interaction of my warm hand with the cold liquid and immediately wiped it on my pyjamas.
"Wakey wakey, you know what day is it today?" A loud bang of a door opening rang through my ears. I turned back towards B/N who was dressed like a cartoon, but again, when does he not dress like one?
"Today's Thursday." I shrugged. I have no clue why he's making such a big deal out of this. You know what should be a big deal? The fact that February just appeared like a storm.
"No, I mean yes but today is something special." He sang.
"Your birthday...?" I raised my eyebrow.
"No uh, wait you don't know my birthday?"
"Is it not today?"
"Y/N!!!"
"Erm... 31st February?"
"FEBRUARY DOESN'T EVEN HAVE THAT MANY DAYS, HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW YOUR OWN BROTHER'S BIRTHDAY?!"
I scratched the back of my head. I don't care about his birthday but the fact that he's making such a big deal out of today is bothering me. If only I knew the date today, I don't even remember what day was yesterday.
"Do you know my birthday though?" I crossed my arms, taking a step forward towards him.
"Uhh..."
I snapped my fingers at him. "Gotcha."
"Yeah okay. You're clueless and it hurts me. Today is 14th February." He backed away from me.
"Shut it, B/N." I gritted my teeth.
"Unlike you, I keep records of dates." He flipped his non existent long hair making me cringe internally.
Today is Valentine's Day, yay... a day used as an excuse to show your love that you love them. As if you can't do that any other day, yay!
My phone buzzed, I reached it and unlocked it, reading a few messages left on the group.
