The Unknowns

Today was the first day of my "Photography lessons with Kim Taehyung," as he named it, with Namjoon as a supporting role. Not going to lie, I feel like it'll be a lot of fun because Taehyung has always been a great company, and Namjoon is a very optimistic person. I think I'll do alright.

"Why are you so happy?" My thoughts were interrupted by B/N, who looked like he just attacked a bunch of zombies in his sleep.

"You have an attention span of a fricking sneaker. It's my first day of photography lesson." I reminded him. He woke up from his sleepy trance and shook his head.

I couldn't tell if he was happy or not.

"What a shame," he plopped down on the couch, "I thought you were going on a date with Namjoon."

It's been roughly 3 minutes since this noodle has arrived, and he has already managed to irk me.

"It's been a week since I met the guy, have some decency." I spoke monotonously, checking my bag to see if I left something for today.

He had a smirk on his face when I turned towards him. "So you admit that you'll date him at some point."

Will I? I'm not experienced in this department. I have always ignored relationships, I thought it'd always create boundaries between my social life and work. Plus, sleep's great when you know nobody is cheating behind your back.

That doesn't mean that I don't feel lonely sometimes, I do have some fantasy of falling in love with somebody who respects me for me, and we help each other out. I also want to hold hands with my significant other while we walk down the streets, I want to cuddle with them when it's cold. Just the small things in life.

I, in no ways or means, am ignoring Namjoon, I think he'd be a very lovely boyfriend. But I can't really decide if I want to be with him by just being with him for 7 days, there are surely many things we've yet to know about each other. Now's definitely not the right time to ask him on a date, I want to respect his privacy as well.

"Don't know, I don't know him for that long." I simply replied with honesty.

B/N had a proud expression on his face, but he didn't speak for a few minutes.

"I want you to get a boyfriend."

"What the hell! Why?" If stereotypical people say that girls are confusing, then you should meet my brother. He'll show you what real confusion is.

He chuckled before answering. "I want to play the role of a protective brother. Y/N, you don't get it but I also want to see the day when you come home with your boyfriend and I stand up from my place and yell, "IF YOU HURT MY BABY SISTER THEN YOU'LL FEEL THE WRATH OF YOUR KARMA THAT YOU CALLED UPON YOURSELF, YOU SPOONY BASTARD!" You get my point?"

"I was feeling sympathetic until you let the last sentence out of your pathetic manhole." I shook my head in disappointment.

The smirk on his face diminished as he eyed me strangely while I walked towards the door.

"Water my plants if you've decided to stay back home." I announced and closed the door behind me.

"I'm so glad everybody could make it! You all have earned my utmost respect, bonus respect if you're a wahmen." Taehyung spoke to his imaginary crowd, doing everything like bowing down and giving a leader like speech.

Namjoon looked all around. "Who are you talking to?" His tone was brimming with sarcasm.

"You both." Taehyung answered.
