Dan's POV
I slammed my hands down onto the table in frustration.
"Nooo!" I screamed, laughter escaping from my mouth.
"I won! Get the board!" Phil's giggle of triumph rang in my ears like a chorus of heaven bells.
"Bloody all-or-nothing." I murmured, standing up.
I stopped as I suddenly realised. In my normal voice I said to Phil, "I- my stitches, Phil."
His head turned to me, instantly understanding.
I saw a sadness wash over his eyes, before he blinked it away and stood up. "You're right. I'll get the board."
He rested it on my thigh and I made sure my sleeves were held over my hands, before he looked back into the camera lens.
The video proceeded with Phil sticking his victory on his side of the board, having his turn to gloat, before we transitioned to the end screen.
"Many of you are wondering, Dan - what's happening? Where are your videos?"
"That's a great question. Let me know when you have the answer." I replied smoothly, before Phil covered the lens with his hands.
"Phil, I'm not ready for a video. But it's what people expect from me. They think I'm out of the episode now."
"I'm sure they'll understand."
They're going to hate you,
Think you're lazy.
You are lazy.
Sitting on your backside eating all day.
Pig.
They've been waiting.
They're still waiting.
You're letting them down.
Everyone down.
You're a failure.
Disappointment.
My fingers traced over the edges of my bandages.
