Dan's POV
Phil decided a trip to the cinema might stop the voices for a bit.
He also wanted to see the new fantastic beasts film.
We got a taxi and sat in the back.
My mind was still racing, and I looked out the window, trying to focus on the bushes and buildings that sped past.
Each time we hit a speed bump, I flinched unwillingly.
I avoided Phil's worried gaze and took out my phone.
Phil: Are you alright? xx
A text from Phil.
Ignore him.
Turn your phone off.
I listened, sliding my phone back into my pocket.
My fingers drummed against my knees, tapping anxiously until Phil placed his hand on mine, stilling them.
Looking up, my eyes met with Phil's questioning eyes, and he leaned towards me to whisper in my ear, "Do you want to go home?"
I nodded, looking back at his hands on mine.
"Excuse me, sir." Phil spoke to the driver, "Could we go back? Our plans have been cancelled."
The driver agreed, and I let out a sigh of relief that I didn't know I'd been holding in.
When we arrived back home, I wrapped myself in Phil's arms.
"I'm sorry I ruined your film." I said.
"It's fine, Dan. I'll just buy the DVD."
I started to move towards my room when Phil took my hand in his. "You're going to stay with me today. Nothing in your bedroom is going to distract you from the voices."
"I just want them to stop, Phil."
"I know. Have you taken the medication for them?"
I shook my head, "Not today."
"Well, lets go get you some."
I smiled, cuddling into him.
My Phil.
