Dan's POV
I looked out of the window, watching at the rain fell onto the glass, dripping down slowly and pooling at the bottom of the frame.
Empty.
The only word that I could describe myself as.
Empty.
I was ripped away from my thoughts by the sound of someone calling my name.
"Da-an!" PJ called, waving his hand in front of my face jokingly, "Earth to Dan!"
"Landed and awaiting instructions." I replied, smiling.
Phil spoke up. He was normally quite quiet at social events, but when he was with me, I saw him glowing with an abundance of energy, "Well... I'm going to be in an apartment by myself next year, and since you don't have a place to stay yet either... I was wondering if you wanted to move into the other room?"
I was shocked. "Are you sure?"
"Only if you want to though-"
"-of course I want to you spork! Thank you so much!"
I moved to hug Phil, but then I caught myself in time and passed it off as a cheesy thumbs up.
I'm such a dumbass.
