~ 2 weeks later "when i saw you i fell in love, and you smiled because you knew."
"who you talking about?" soda grinned. "bout nobody." i said with a grin. i wasn't really interested in love right now, but if i was i would be acting stupid!
"rubi help!" pony yelled out. "what's wrong?" i asked entering the bathroom. "should i dye my hair or not?" ponyboy would always ask that stupid question.
"boy, i already told you this. you look good blonde ok?" i giggled and went to the living room.
"hey y'all!" two bit said entering the house.
"hiya mickey!" i said, two bits nickname for me is mickey because he loves mickey mouse and has a mickey shirt that he usually wears!
"hey dumbo!" steve exclaimed and jumped on the couch. "hey dumbass! still don't know how to spell truce?" i playfully pushed him.
"steve!" soda ran into the living room and started to wrestle steve. "holy shit what am i missing?" dally said running to steve and soda who were wrestling.
i went outside to get peace and quiet so i can read "romeo & juliet"
"hey there." i heard a familiar voice and looked up, it was johnny. "hey johnny!"
johnny sat down next to me and looked up at the sky. i kept reading my book until johnny interrupted the silence. "what do you say if we walk around the neighborhood?" he looked at me and grinned. "i'm down."
we started walking around the neighborhood, it was quiet at first but johnny broke the silence. "hey want to go in the library and get in some trouble?" johnny said as i nodded.
we ran into the library. johnny and i were laughing at old yearbooks or at anything. we just ran around and had fun until we got kicked out. "let's go to the diner!" i said and grabbed his arm and ran inside the diner.
we got milkshakes and fries. i got a vanilla milkshake and johnny a strawberry milkshake. "this is pretty fun huh?" johnny laughed. "hell yeah!" i smiled. when we finished eating we went to the park. "hey dork push me on the swing now will you please?" johnny smiled and got on the swing.
i tried pushing him but instead i fell onto the ground, johnny wouldn't stop laughing that he fell on me. i pushed him off of me and his eyes met mine.
"you know that your eyes are beautiful right?" johnny asked. "now let's walk you home sweets, ain't going to let a soc attack you like last time."
as we walked home there was a silence. johnny and i never had this much fun before. this could be a new friendship. "hello?" i said as me and johnny entered the house. "oh shit! it's already 11:30! how long have we've been out?" i softly yelled at johnny.
"there you are!" pony loudly whispered to me. "good thing darry is taking an extra shift right now if not your ass would've been in big trouble!"
"it's my fault ponyboy. i told her to go walk with me and we didn't know how long we've been out." johnny whispered to him.
"it ain't nobody's fault! you two been gone a long time now nobody knows what y'all could've been doing by yourself!" pony softly yelled at both of us.
"oh my gosh! really ponyboy? really? i'm going to bed. see y'all tomorrow." i said running into my room.
i didn't mind taking my clothes off i just feel asleep like nothing happened. but something did happen. my feelings were going all over the place that i had no clue what was happening.
johnny meeting with my eyes were the only thing on my mind right now. feelings are just confusing sometimes.
