after the incident i was afraid i would be pregnant. i bought a pregnancy test from the liquor store, i hid it safe where none of my brothers can find it.

it's almost prom night which is today! in a couple of hours! i didn't worry though, i was going anyway with pony and cherry. "pony where are?" i yelled. pony ran into the room, he looked sad.

"yo! what the hell happened!" i said walking up to pony. pony looked at me than fell down on my bed. "i asked cherry to prom...and she said she can't because even though she loves me...people are irrelevant. so she broke up with me, and is going to the dance with randy." pony muttered.

i knew it was time for me to rant to my brother. "alright look! cherry is a wonderful girl, but what she did to you was fucked up. if she loved you she wouldn't care what people would say and she would go with you to the dance. you know, this place is fucked up. you must be sad and all but them memories, them memories will always stay! people don't always stay, they leave or their...gone. those memories pony, cherish them, don't forget them. even though you think you'll hate the person forever for them leaving you, deep deep deep down you still care. she must be regretting that she broke your heart but she does know that you will still care." i told pony, he's my brother and i want to help him like he helped me. pony looked at me and smile. "thanks lil sis." pony said giving me a hug.

"hey anything for you ok? and i'm not little!" i softly yelled as pony was leaving the room. i headed to my closet to take my clothes out and makeup. after i took everything out i headed to the restroom. i turned on the water and waited till it was warm.

"hurry rubi! i need to take a dump!" two bit yelled. i rolled my eyes at two bit, i got my towel turned the water off and headed to my room. while i put on my normal clothes and makeup, i heard a knock.

"come on in!" i said as the door opened. "hiya darry!" i said finishing my makeup. "hey, rubi i want you to have fun at prom! i remember seeing this dress and it reminded me of our mother. i think mom would like you to have it."

i turned around and saw the cherry red dress. i gently took it from darry. my eyes were watery, i felt so close to mom. "and this belt is from dad, and i know you'll like to wear it with your dress." darry smiles as he handed me the belt.

i smiled and wrapped my arms around darry. "thank you." darry hugged me back and gave me a little kiss on the forehead. i dried my hair and fixed it up.

i was ready and so was pony. "hurry up!" darry yelled from his truck. "i'm ready! it's rubi who's taking long!" pony said entering the truck. i was heading to the truck when i saw johnny.

"fuck." i muttered under my breath, butterflies were going all over the place in my stomach. i sat near the side while pony in the middle.

we finally made it, the music was loud that you can hear it outside. "have fun! you two take care of rubi!" darry yelled and left. i looked at johnny, who was looking at me for a while then stopped.

we payed to go inside and opened the door of the gym. it looks better than last time, i sat where the last time i was sitting. i got a flash back when dally surprised me. it made me smile then think about something.

what if i am pregnant? what if dally would be mad that i got pregnant? what if people think i am a whore? i looked at johnny and pony, both of them were dancing. i then noticed johnny smiling at me and telling me to come.

i slowly walked to him and started to dance. "i want to apologize." johnny whispered. i looked at johnny, and turned around to see pony but he wasn't there anymore he was talking to some girls. "ok talk."

we went down the hall where nobody was. "i took it to far! when you yelled at me i knew i fucked up. i felt that we lost our friendship or whatever we are. i feel like i am hurting your feelings because dally is gone and i'm taking things kinda quick. i'm sorry rubi mae curtis." johnny said holding my hand.

i looked at him then our hands. "johnny...we did take it far but i was worried bout...bout our friendship." i lied, i was afraid to say the truth.

everything was moving, my legs started to feel like noodles, my stomach was starting to go up. "fuck, i-" i quickly ran to the restroom and threw up. i got out of the stall and washed my mouth.

i got out seeing johnny waiting outside. we then heard a slow song come up. i looked up at johnny and he looked down at me. "wanna dance sweets?" johnny grinned and put his hands on my waist.

we were dancing when we heard a door slam. we quickly turned and it was abigail.
