abigail was standing outside. her makeup and hair was a mess. "you come outside with me!" she cried pointing at me. johnny looked concerned but i went anyway.
"you have no idea how you hurt me!" she yelled at me outside. i looked at her in a questionable way. "what are you talking about?" i asked as she wiped her tears. she looked at me then she started to push me.
"hey!" i said as i swung my fist but she moved. she wouldn't stop until we were on the sidewalk. "i don't want to fight right now! after what you're dumbass boyfriend did to dally!" I said noticing we were both crying.
she looked at the streets then at me. "go to hell." she said pushing me to the streets and right there everything went black.
i woke up seeing bright lights. i saw a monitor and a nurse. "w-where am i?" i stuttered trying to focus my eye sight. "shh...you get rest." i tried sitting up but i decided to sleep instead.
i woke up again seeing a familiar face hovering over my face. "hiya rubi!" two bit said smiling. "hey mickey! it's totally normal for you hovering over my face!" i said sarcastically as i was sitting up.
i looked at the whole gang. missing dally but was happy that everyone was here with me. "what happened?" i asked looking at pony and johnny.
"i heard a crash outside and i looked and saw you in the middle of the streets...i yelled for help when a teacher finally came." johnny said looking at me and holding my hand.
i started to remember abigail pushing me. "i remember a-abigail pushing me then we were both on the...sidewalk." i stuttered.
the gang looked at each other and started to talk all at once. i looked at johnny and i remembered that i'm in the hospital.
"hello, excuse me." one of the doctors said entering with a clipboard. everyone was still talking not noticing the doctor. "guys shut your trap!" i softly yelled. everyone looked at me then the doctor and they all shut up.
"thank you. we have your results about your health but we do have something to say and i think it's concerning." the doctor said looking at everyone except me.
i nodded, "i don't know if you want me to say it in front of everyone rubi. i think it's better private then you tell them instead coming from a doctor." i looked at everyone then at the doctor.
"no, whatever it is i'd like you to say it in front of the gang." i said looking at my hand. the doctor looked shocked from my decision. he put his glasses on and started to find his papers.
"ok. while we were checking if you had any broken bone it was a miracle that your body is healthy and strong. results are you have no broken bones-" the doctor was interrupted by a loud cheer. "what's so bad bout not sharing that!" soda grinned.
"we do have one more result..." everyone was quiet, i felt that my heart stopped when the doctor said the last result. "rubi, you are pregnant." i felt that all eyes were on me.
shit. i looked at darry who was angry.
"can you please leave us alone?" darry asked the doctor. the doctor nodded and quickly left. darry stood up and started to walk around laughing quietly.
"who the fuck is dumb enough to have fucken sex with no protection!" darry yelled at me. the whole gang was quiet. i kept looking at my hands feeling like i disappointed everyone even dally.
"who's the father? i'd like to speak with him!" darry told me with his arms crossed. i saw the anger in darry. i looked at johnny then at my hands. "the father is...he is in this room." i muttered as a tear went down my cheek.
pony was smiling then laughed. "pony! shut your trap." soda whispered loudly while giving him a punch. johnny looked at me then darry. "johnny?" darry looked at him then me. i nodded.
"ok let me get this straight. you two used no damn protection ok! when you don't use protection this happens!" darry yelled.
johnny wouldn't stop looking at me. he softly smiled then softly yelled, "i'm a god damn father!" i tried not to smile, but darry was still serious.
"a father! hell yeah, do you know how hard is that? no! you ain't ready to be a god damn father yet here you are being happy and all saying "i'm a father!" darry mocked johnny then looked back at me.
"this child will be responsible of both you. need any help please don't contact me." darry said leaving the room. steve congratulated johnny and i. two bit slapped johnny's back then laughed. soda and pony stayed for a while.
"how you guys going to do it?" pony asked sitting down. "i don't know...hopefully nothing bad will go on." i said looking up at the ceiling.
"hey me and pony will still be there for ya!" soda said grabbing my hand. "don't cry sweets." johnny said. "cry? i will because i don't know how to react!"
"johnny promise me this..." johnny nodded and grabbed both of my hands. "don't leave me alone taking care of our baby. i want you to be with me and our kid."
johnny was crying, "i'll never leave your side! i love you! the day we meet in the train station is the day i knew we'd have something special. you and dally seemed happy so i didn't get inside the relationship i waited. but it's my fault for taking things quick. i'll never leave though, because i love you rubi mae curtis."
