I looked around, everyone was standing around talking, and I looked at them all, everybody had changed so much, I guess we'd all changed, for the better.
I walked over to Steph, she was talking with Gabby's mom.
"I'm so glad you came Kylie." Her mom said to me.
I smiled. "Me too."
"Gabby always talked about you, she missed you alot."
Well that made me feel bad, terrible actually and I found myself questioning all of my decisions again.
"You okay?" Brian asked, walking over to me.
I looked at him and smiled. "I don't know."
"Come on." He took my hand and led me to a seat. "Drink?"
"I'm driving."
"Leave you car here, come on, lets have one night of fun."
God, he could always sweet talk me into anything. "Okay, but beer only."
"Yes ma'am."
I watched him walk off and smiled. I'd kept up with him and the guys, I knew they were doing well and I also knew he made the girls crazy, that didn't surprise me, he'd always made me a little crazy.
I glanced around, everyone was talking, laughing, relaxing and I smiled, it really was good to see them.
"So." Brian said, handing me a beer and sitting down. "What exactly happened to you?"
"I'm sure you know."
"No seriously, I mean I know a few things but not the whole story, so tell me Kyles, what happened." He slipped back into the name he used to call me so easily, it made me smile.
"Well that morning I left you I went home, I packed my shit and I went to dad's in New York. He helped me sort my shit out."
"I'm glad you did, I think it was a little wake up for all of us, ya know."
"So, your famous?" I said, laughing.
"Famous, ha, sort of, I guess." He smirked at me, that damn sexy smirk.
"Well you guys deserve it, you worked hard."
"True, are you really a lawyer?" He asked.
"Yeah, but don't hold that against me, I'm working my ass off to get anywhere."
"So, how long are you sticking around for." I watched him take a drink.
"Not sure." Now I wasn't sure.
"Good, we can all hang out, like we use too."
"I'd like that." I really would.
"Like what?" Matt asked, dragging a chair over.
"Kyles is hanging around for a few days and I suggested she spend that time with us." Brian told him.
"Yes, tonight, we'll go to a club." Steph suggested walking over.
"Yes." Brian agreed.
"Why not." I could have a little fun couldn't I?
"Well it sounds like a plan then." Brian announced.
I smiled at them, yes it did, and I was looking forward too it.
"And if we get into any trouble we already have a lawyer." Matt said, smiling at me.
