"Open the door." Becca said banging on it.
I ignored her. I wasn't opening that door for anything, oh except to leave.
My phone suddenly started ringing.
I swear to god, I thought, if it's one of them I will smash this phone.
I glanced at it, it was Brian.
"Hello." I said answering it.
"Hey bub, what are you up to?" He asked me.
"Absolutely nothing, why?"
"I'm heading out for a drink. I'll pick you up in five minutes."
He hung up, not waiting for an answer, but that was fine with me, it gave me an excuse to get out of this house.
I quickly got changed, running a brush through my hair and throwing on a bit of makeup.
My phone pinged.

A text from Brian.
I grabbed my bag and opened the door, heading downstairs.
Matt and Becca were standing there.
"What is going on?" Becca asked.
"Nothing." I told her.
"Your going out, where are you going?" Matt asked.
"Out with Brian, not that it's any of your business."
"Your going out with Brian? Just wait." He started, but I ignored him, walking out the door and slamming it.
"Fuck." I heard him say.
"What did you do?" I heard Becca ask him as I walked down the stairs.
He was an asshole, I thought, getting in Brians car.
"Hey." He said smiling.
"Hey."
"I hope I didn't interrupt anything."
"Nope, not a thing."
"Good, we need to catch up."
Yeah we did.
We went to a bar and met up with Johnny, it was nice to catch up with those two. I didn't drink, the thought of it made me feel sick.
I ignored my phone and the missed calls from Becca and Matt, I didn't want to speak to either of them.
"I miss you, you know." Brian told me.
I was driving his car and dropping him off home.
"Yeah, we were good together." I'd loved him, in some weird drug fucked way back then.
He nodded and smiled, getting out of the car.
Maybe Brian and I should try again, I thought watching him walk up his steps.
But I couldn't.
He wasn't Matt.
