I grabbed my beer and took a drink, I was a little disgusted in their behaviour, and more than a little disappointed.
"Everything okay?" Brian asked.
"I think so."
"Let's dance baby." Becca asked Jim.
He grabbed her hand and they headed onto the dance floor.
I smiled watching them, she was grinding all over him, he was loving it. But I was smiling because of Mia's face, it said it all, she was still in love with Jimmy and incredibly jealous of Becca.
"Do you want to dance?" Brian suddenly asked me.
I burst out laughing. "Maybe later." Brian dancing was a sight and I don't think I was drunk enough for that yet.
"What a fucking slut." Steph said really loudly.
I was about to say something when Matt beat me to it. "You two need to grow up, Jim isn't your boyfriend anymore so get the fuck over it."
I raised my eyebrows at him. "This isn't the first time they've done it to a girl."
Why did that not surprise me.
"Oh I could imagine." I told him.
I wondered why Danielle was hanging around with them and I was going to make sure I asked.
"So, anyway we were mid conversation." He smiled at me.
"Sorry Matt." I'd forgotten I'd just walked off to see Becca.
"No it's fine, nice to see, once upon a time you would've been sitting with them being a bitch."
I nodded, it was completely true, and that thought horrified me.
Matt and I chatted for awhile, until Jim and Becca came over.
"So we're going to head off." Jim said, he pulled me into hug and whispered in my ear. "Thankyou so much."
"No problem."
"So Kylie, Jimmy and I are going to have a little get together tomorrow and I hope you'll come." Becca said to me.
"Of course I will." It sounded great.
We said our goodbyes and I smiled watching them leave, I bet Steph and Mia weren't invited.
I noticed Danielle standing by herself so I made my way over to her.
"Hi." I said smiling.
"Oh hi." She looked nervous, I had no idea why.
"Will you and Johnny be going tomorrow?"
"I guess, I'm not sure."
"Can I ask you something?" Now she looked incredibly nervous, but nodded. "Why would you hang around those two?"
She looked shocked. "Are you serious? I see what they do, they're horrible, I don't want them doing that to me, and they would you know, they do it to every girl one of the guys meet."
Of course they did, those two might pretend to have grown up but they were still the same bitches they'd always been.
As I stood there looking at them, I noted the hateful look on Mia's face and I suddenly realised, she was the person I'd had the fight with the night before I left, I smiled because I knew no matter how bad I looked the next morning, she would've looked ten times worse.
