We spent the afternoon at Gabby's mothers place just talking and catching up and we decided to meet in the bar at my hotel later.
I ended up catching a cab back to the hotel and I had a few hours to kill so I had a nap.
It was the phone ringing that woke me, Michael.
"Hey, how are you?" He seemed calmer.
"Fine." I was still pissed at what he'd said earlier.
"Look, I just want to know when your coming home."
"I'm really not sure, a couple of days."
"Okay take all the time you need." I smiled, he could be sweet when he wanted too.
"Thanks Micheal." I told him.
"Alright, well call me, I love you."
"Okay." I hung up, I didn't say it back, I never did, I wasn't one for declaring my love, but he knew that and he was okay with it.
I jumped in the shower and took some time getting ready, I was actually excited for tonight and looking forward too it.
I went downstairs, Steph and Mia were already there waiting.
"You the first ones here?" I asked sitting down.
"Yep, drink?" Mia said standing up.
She wandered off too the bar.
"Are you okay?" Steph asked me when she was gone.
"Yeah, I am, I'm glad I came."
"Me too, oh Brian's here." She winked at me.
"Steph, not gonna happen."
"You never know.....oh hey Bri." She smirked at me.
"Ladies." He said, pulling up a chair.
"Where are the other's?" Steph asked.
Brian shrugged. "I saw Jimmy outside, he brought his girl."
"Argh shit." Steph said. "Mia will be pissed."
I looked at them questioningly.
"Come on Kyles." Brian whispered. "Mia and Jimmy had a thing, she never got over it and she hates his girlfriend."
I looked over at Mia, she always was a a bit of a bitch. "So I guess she makes it uncomfortable for his girlfriend right?"
Brian and Steph both laughed.
"Fuck no." Brian said. "She's as bad as Mia, you'll see."
Matt and Zack walked in, smiling, and Zack headed straight to the bar.
Mia came back with our drinks, she'd gotten one for Brian too.
"So where are we going?" Matt asked.
I shrugged, I had no idea.
"Let's just get drunk and see where the night takes us." Steph suggested.
"I'll fucking drink to that." Brian said, taking a drink.
"Arghhh fuck me." Mia said loudly, looking over my shoulder. "Did he have to bring that bitch."
I guessed Jimmy was here.
"Try and be nice." Matt told her.
"Fuck that." Mia snapped.
"Hey guys." Jimmy said, pulling out a seat for his girlfriend.
I noticed she was glaring at Mia.
I looked at Matt snd raised my eyebrows, he shrugged.
"So babe." Jimmy said to her. "Drink?"
"No I'm here for the shitty company, yes I want a drink."
Oh yeah, her and Mia would clash.
I looked at her, she glared at me.
I stuck my hand out. "I'm Kylie."
She looked at my hand. "I don't give a fuck who you are."
Nice.
"Jesus Becca." Brian snapped.
She rolled her eyes, and plastered on a fake smile. "I'm Becca and it's so lovely to meet you."
I was speechless, I wasn't sure what to say.
"I hope your playing nice." Jim said to her, pulling up a seat.
"Of course." She smiled sweetly at him.
"She's really not that bad." Matt whispered in my ear.
I wasn't so sure of that.
