"Rise and shine sunshine." My door flew open and Becca came bursting in.
Oh god, I felt like shit, and the taste in my mouth, now I remembered why I didn't drink much anymore.
"Get up Kylie."
"Fuck off Becca." I pulled the blankets over my head.
She grabbed them and pulled them back down. "Come on, get up, lets go lay around the pool."
"How do you not have a hangover?" I asked her.
"Honestly, I think I'm still drunk." She layed down on the bed beside me.
I closed my eye's, I didn't want to get out of bed, actually I didn't want to get out of bed ever again.
"So." Becca said.
"So what?"
"Did you talk to Matt?"
"Why would I talk to Matt?" I asked her.
"Please, stop the bullshit, you like him, just admit it."
I got out of bed, I wasn't going through this crap again, listening to her go on about Matt. Yeah so maybe I did like him, he obviously didn't feel the same.
"Where are you going?" Becca asked me.
"To lay around in the pool."
"Your avoiding the Matt topic." She started following me into the bathroom.
"There is no Matt topic." I snapped, slamming the door in her face.
I wished she'd leave me alone and stop going on about Matt. Didn't she realise that I was felt stupid and ugly, and oh god, after what happened in here last night while his date was downstairs, I could add whore to that list.
I got changed and headed out to the pool. Jim was out there, laying on a sun lounge, and eww yuck, he was drinking a beer.
He must have seen the look on my face.
"You should try it." He told me. "You'd feel so much better."
I layed down on a sun lounge and closed my eyes, a short time later I heard Becca come outside.
"I'm sorry." She said quietly. "I just think there's something there."
I groaned. "Don't you get it, there is nothing there, it was sex, that's it."
Becca looked at me. "Are you okay?"
"No, I'm not okay. I looked like an ass last night Becca, I looked pathetic, especially compared to that girl. My self confidence is absolute shit right now. So please, drop the Matt subject."
"I'm sorry Kylie." She said. "It's just..."
I cut her off. "It's just nothing."
Finally she shutup. Finally no more Matt talk, now I could lay here, think about what I'm going to do, think about everything other than Matt. I was done with that, there was no Matt.
The back door flew open. "Hey guys."
Fuck. Matt.
