Becca's POV
The party was a hit. Everyone was having a great time and I was glad, if I threw a party it had to be the best.
I stood back and looked at everybody, the alcohol was flowing freely and everyone seemed happy.
Well almost everyone. I watched Kylie flit off and avoid Matt again. She'd been doing it all night. She'd walk away, he'd wait a couple of minutes then approach her again. It was a cycle and I found it cute and amusing to watch. She actually liked him, she just needed to admit it.
I looked around and spied Jimmy leaning on a wall talking to Brian. He looked gorgeous, he always looked gorgeous. Hopefully the night would end up with some good sex. Hmm, now all I could think about was sex with Jim. Who was I kidding, sex with Jimmy was all I ever thought about, Jimmy was all I ever thought. I loved him. He was it. There would never be anyone as amazing as him in my eyes. Never.
Oh here came Kylie again.
"I'm drunk." She said stopping in front of me, and damn her, blocking my view of Jimmy.
"Good, you needed to relax."
She nodded looking around. "Who the fuck is she anyway?" She hissed, talking about the girl Matt came with.
"Apparently Matt met her a few days ago." I told her.
I watched her face and wondered if she realised she was doing a horrible job of hiding her feelings.
She grunted in reply. That was it, a grunt.
"Go and throw yourself at him." I told her.
"Eww what? I'm not interested."
"Bullshit." She was a terrible liar.
"Look Becca..." She started but she was interrupted.
"Nice party." Matt said.
I smiled at him, he was as stupid as her, it was obvious they were into eachother, even if it was only sexual, but I honestly think it's more than that.
"Excuse me." Kylie said, flitting off again.
"So who's the girl?" I asked.
He looked at me like I was stupid.
"Matt, the girl you brought to the party."
"Oh her, yeah Millie, I met her a few days ago."
"So your dating?" I asked.
"What? No." He said looking around.
I knew exactly who he was looking for.
"Matt, ask her out."
"Huh?" He said, turning back to me.
"Ask her out, you might be surprised by her answer."
"What, no, I don't want to go out with her." He said turning around and going over to the girl he'd been chasing around alnight but didn't want to go out with.
I smiled and shook my head, it really was fucking adorable.
"What are you smiling at?" Jimmy asked walking over.
"Those two." I giggled.
"Yeah, they're pretty obvious." He laughed. "I was kind of hoping it was me making you smile."
"Oh Jimmy." I whispered, putting my arms around him. "You always make me smile, you consume all of my thoughts, there is no room in my life for anybody else."
He kissed the top of my head. "Good."
Every word I'd said was true.
