I've found that I can get quite a lot written at one time if I binge write for just one book. I did that for Elrios High Too and it turned out pretty well.

It had been three days since her disappearance and already, Gladion found that she was not the same girl that he'd known before leaving. Yes, (y/n) was far more intelligent, independent, and caring than he last remembered. The reason he knew this was because of the research videos that she'd left behind.

Gladion had spent the past three days reading her reports and watching her carefully recorded videos. He was doing just that in (y/n)'s lab at the time when he heard the knock at the door. He already knew who it could have been. Only Lillie, Wicke, or his mother bothered him when he was in (y/n)'s lab.

"Gladion you should take a break. You've been watching those videos in there all day," Lusamine called after she got no response to her knock. Gladion didn't respond.

"We talked about this. She isn't coming back," Lusamine said. It was that simple fact that Gladion refused to accept as the truth. (Y/n) would come back and he would make sure of it.

"Can you at least go outside and get some sunlight. You could even visit Lunala. She showed up not too long ago," Lusamine said. The mentioning of Lunala caught his attention. Lunala was (y/n)'s last pokémon and was able to communicate with him.

In fact, Gladion had asked that Lunala check throughout ultraspace in search of (y/n)'s whereabouts. It was likely that Lunala had some information. Gladion paused the video that he was currently watching, making a mental note to come back to it, and went to the door. He unlocked it and walked out right past his mother without a word.

"A hello might be nice by the way. I am your mother afterall," Lusamine said as she followed him. Gladion didn't want to talk to her though.

"You should stop acting so independently. You have plently of people to help you," Lusamine said, still following him to the elevator. Gladion just took the elevator to the main floor in silence, his mother not attempting to say anything to him. He continued onward, making his way to Aether's exit, but he didn't even get out of the door before he saw Lillie running towards him with Lunala not far behind her.

"Gladion! She's back! Moon is back! She's on her way here!" Lillie shouted. Gladion froze, unsure of how he should handle the situation. Should he rush out there and demand answers about (y/n)'s location? Should he warn the others and ask that they show up to counter whatever Moon was planning by comming back? Should he just fight back himself?

He didn't know what he to do so he ended up walking outside to see Moon and Necrozma heading towards him. The ultra wormhole they'd used to get there disappeared behind them. Gladion released Silvally and glared at Moon who was glaring back at him.

"Where is she?!" Moon spat. The question was rather confusing considering Gladion automatically assumed who it was that Moon was looking for.

"I should be asking you the same thing," Gladion said as they both stopped within a certain distance of each other with their pokémon at their side.

"What are you talking about? You're the one that set up that plan to steal my powers. Shouldn't you know where (y/n) is?" Moon said, a sudden panic making its way into her expression and voice.

It was then that Gladion realized that Moon really didn't know where (y/n) could be and was still after her. It was a fact that didn't male much sense.

"If you don't know where she is...then where..." Gladion muttered once the realization truck him.

"She took my power, well Cosmoem's power. I don't know how nor does Necrozma," Moon said all to quickly. It was all suspicious, every one of her actions and statements.

"Why are you telling me this?" Gladion asked, noticing that Moon was indeed hinting at something.

"I want my powers back and you want that girl back. Our reasons are unknown but we have a common goal. We can help each other reach our goal," Moon said.

"What makes you think I'd even think about helping you," Gladion growled. Moon smirked.

"You wouldn't be able to find her without my help. Everyone seemed to be relying on her the last time I was here and she understands psychic pokémon in a way that no other person can," Moon said.

"You just gave me two reasons why I shouldn't help you. Leave before I send you away myself," Gladion said.

"You must not understand what's happening. Do you really think you have a choice in this matter. You either help me or you suffer the consequences," Moon said in such a condescending way that Gladion almost felt sorry for her. It was clear that her character flaw was thinking that she was better than everyone. Gladion thought about it for a moment.

If (y/n) were to return, she could actually just stop Moon herself. According to everyone else, she was now the most reliable person in Aether...well his mother didn't entirely think so but that didn't entirely matter at the moment.

"What are you planning on doing when (y/n) gets back here?" Gladion asked Moon although he was quite sure he already knew the answer.

"Reclaim what's mine of course. She may know a lot about psychic pokémon, but (y/n) isn't worthy of wielding psychic power," Moon said.

"What makes you so sure that she even has your lost power? You can't even prove that she took it from you," Gladion said just to see how much information Moon would reveal. He could have sworn he'd seen her eye twitch.

"There's no reason for you to be concerned with that. She has my power and I will get it back," Moon said in a warning tone. Gladion stared at her, unphased by her intimidation attempt.

"I guess we have no choice then. You'll be working with us here at Aether. No other place outside of Alola is an exception," Gladion said. Moon gave that same condescending look again before speaking. "Well then, shall we start our search?"
