Unfinished Business Part 1

Diggle was on the other side of Starling as he declined the incoming call from Felicity. This  was something personal. It's about finding the man who killed his little brother and bring him to justice once and for all. He was meeting up with an old army buddy from his days in Afghanistan, Lyla Michaels. Current field agent of ARGUS.

Diggle: Glad I caught you stateside.  

Lyla: Just barely. I leave in two days for Pyongyang. 

Diggle: Isn't that classified?"  

Lyla: I figure an old army buddy can keep a secret. I was glad to get your call.

Diggle: Lyla, that's not why I called.

Lyla: There's something else you'd like me to do for you, then.

Diggle: Well, actually, I think there's something I can do for you. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that Deadshot is on Argus' most wanted list. 

Lyla: What do you know about him?

Diggle holding up a memory stick toward her: Well, his name, for starters. Floyd Lawton. 

Lyla: We don't even have that. Where'd you get it?

Diggle: Same place I got this. This is everything you need to locate who's giving Deadshot his targets."

Lyla: What's your interest in this? 

Diggle: Lawton came up in connection with some things I'm working on. I thought you were the right person to pass it off to.

Lyla: I remember you being a better liar than that, Johnny.

 Diggle: Listen, Lyla, Lawton is a very dangerous man. And your people are the most qualified to take him down. It's that simple...

 Lyla: Nothing in our business is simple. I mean, for the past year my bosses back at HQ has been breathing down my neck to locate and capture one of our operatives gone rogue.  There are rumors about him seeking refugee in Romania. Others speculate that he's in Siberia. He's like a ghost that seem to stay in one place for no longer than 3 months before he's on the move.

Diggle: Who is this?

Lyla: Johnny. You know that I shouldn't be telling you about this.

Diggle: Come on, Lyla. you know that I can keep a secret or two.

Lyla: The guy ARGUS wants me to find is not only a rogue agent but he is also further up on ARGUS's most wanted list than Deadshot himself. We call him the Winter Soldier.

Diggle: Who the hell is the Winter Soldier?

Lyla: I don't know. I don't have high enough clearance to know the actual name yet. I hear that he's a defected agent from KGB, others say that he's ex militia. It's a bit sketchy.

Diggle: He must be a evil son of bitch to be up high on Argus's list than Deadshot. Why's that?

Lyla sighs: He's a cold blooded animal, Johnny.
