Looking around the building where her father lost his life, Black Canary had an uneasy feeling about this ordeal. Felicity caught a 911 call on police call about a body found in an abandoned building outside of the glades. Green Arrow was ready to go, but Black Canary had already left knowing the road already.
She peeked her head into one of the rooms only to see a cellphone at left coroner. Something was off about this. Cautiously, she went over to the corner, picking up the phone and checked the display seeing that the phone had a pre recorded message. Pressing play, Black Canary tensed as she heard the ominous voice of Prometheus mocking her misery.
"How does it feel, Laurel Lance? To stand on the very stones that ran with your father's blood? Do you feel sad? Full of rage? Or does that outfit help bury your feelings, hiding your true self? Oh, you are a truly extraordinary specimen. I look forward to breaking you..."
Once the recording had ended, Black Canary was breathing hard as her shoulder was starting to shake in anger. "You can't break me. I'm already broken."
