"Following the revelations of CatCo reporter Kara Danvers' expose, the cabinet invoked the 25th amendment to remove Baker from office."
"Way to go, Kara." Dinah grinned watching the news, standing at the sidewalk seeing the corrupt ex president being led out of the oval office on the screen and Lockwood heading back to prison. It is so good to be a good guy today.
"I think it's safe to presume that Kara won't have to worry about the attempted murder charge anymore."
Dinah turned to see Alex in her civilian clothing. "Would've been an interesting trial though." Dinah mused. That was true to a certain extent but Alex was grateful that it didn't follow through though. "How are you holding up, doll?" Dinah asked
Alex exhaled a breath thinking about the rollercoaster that she went through the past few months. Ben Lockwood, the Luthors and the Red Daughter. "I'm holding up ok all things considered. I'm just relieved this is over. "
Dinah smiled taking a step forward. "I'm glad to hear it. So... to celebrate world peace, how about we go to your place and order pizza and wine?"
Alex returned the smile with her own. "You had me at pizza and wine."
The two women began the walk back to Alex's apartment.
