Ready to Comply Part 2

A guard was doing his daily round when he saw one of the cell doors was wide opened which meant one thing. One of the prisoners had escaped. Just as he was about to set off the alarm, the Winter Soldier stepped out of the corner swinging a punch. The guard ducked just in time, avoiding the soldier's lethal blow as it smashed through the wall, breaking several feet of concrete of it. The guard pulled out a baton and attempted to strike the soldier but he blocked the attack, hitting the guard in the nose with a quick jab to stagger him as the other hand snatched the side arm from the guard's leg holster before pulling the trigger, killing him.

"Woo hoo! Kick their asses, puddin'!" Harley Quinn cheered for the soldier from looking on from her cell.

"All available ARGUS agents, be advised! The east wing is compromised. Repeat: The east wing is compromised! The Winter Soldier has broken out of the containment unit!"

"What the hell?" Lyla muttered as ARGUS building went into full lockdown, red alarm lightning flashed around her spot in the control room as her boss Director Waller who dreaded that someone would get their hands on the red notebook kept a composed look on her face as she gave out the orders.

"Evac all civilians from the building now." Waller ordered.

"Yes, Ma'am." The agents that were there chorused in unison, compiling to her commands. The agents exited the control room in a hurry as one of her tech supports went to show both Waller and Lyla the security footage from his Ipad of the infamous Winter Soldier bulldozing through ARGUS operatives like a enraged bull taking out matadors with ease on the ground floor, breaking necks on whatever he got his hands on. What really made them frightened was when Agent Ferrara tried to take the soldier on hand to hand, only for him to realize that he was no match for the soldier moments later as he'd was already on the loosing. The Winter Soldier used his strong hand which was the metal one to hit Agent Ferrara square in the chest, sending him through one of the elevator doors into the elevator shaft. It showed how strong the Winter Soldier was and it was not good news for them.

"How the hell did he escape from his cell?" Lyla wondered bewildered.

After dispatching a small task force of ARGUS field Agents on the open floor, The Winter Soldier was heading up the stairs that would lead to the helicopter pad outside so that he could hijack one of the choppers and leave ARGUS.

But he was gonna have to go through another hurdle when Lyla rushed him having to run from the control control to stop the soldier. She swung her foot at his arm forcing the soldier to block the kick with his underarm before evading a right hook but that gave him the opening to latch his metal hand onto her throat stopping her assault. Lyla choked as the soldier tightened his grip lifting her off her dangling feet before throwing her off the stairs. She smashed onto a table below the soldier, her head bounced off the hardened floor, rendering her unconscious as the Winter Soldier had once again escaped from the cold hands of ARGUS.
