Oliver looked out to Star City with a look of disgust after learning the truth about his other half sister who was also the other Green Arrow and what his parents did. It's one thing to cheat on a spouse but to abandon a new born child and not taking care of it and its mother? That's low, even for them. Oliver didn't think it was possible for them to fall any further in his eyes, but obviously, he was wrong.

"Everything ok?" He turned to see Hope entering the balcony with a concerned look. It didn't take a genius to figure it out that something was bothering him.

Oliver sighed with a thoughtful look on his face. Was everything ok? No chance in hell. "Not really." He admitted. "I just found out that the other Green Arrow is my half sister, on my father's side."

Hope's eyes widened in shock. Well, that was a surprise. "Wow. How did you find out?"

"Felicity.  She ran the DNA test on the blood we found on the piece of glass at the crime scene and then I found out through a letter to an old family friend that my mother concealed her identity from us" He explained to her, showing contempt of his late mother's actions. The auburn woman could only imagine what he must feeling right now. Nothing good, she feared. "I've come to terms that my parents weren't perfect and I've sacrificed so much for the past decade to redeem my family's name for all the despicable things they've done but to abandon a young woman and her newborn daughter that were supposed to be taken care of in the event of my father's passing? It's unforgivable. "

Hope had a look of sympathy once he was finished. She understood his frustration because she's been in his shoes before, except that her father didn't cheat on her mother because they weren't together. "In my experience, fathers and mothers causes pain. Whether by their presence or their absence, there's a certain type of ruin that only they can leave behind."  Hope said, remembering her complicated relationship with her father. "I wasn't exactly a model daughter back then and my father was certainly not a saint by any means, given the atrocious things he's done over a millennia. But he tried to change to be a better man, for me. And just before he died, I promised him I was gonna do things right by our family name and that is the reason why I became the Tribrid, to atone for my father's sins. " Hope tilted her head to side. "We are not defined by the sins from the past."
