Me and 9'a continued following the doctors to the doctors ward. I kept my head down, but could feel 9'a glancing over at me. I ignored him even though I knew that he wanted to say something. He then quit glancing once we both got to the doctors ward. We both eventually had to go separate ways to different spots in the ward.

The nurse that was taking care of me, checked my status and then she looked for any injuries. Once she was done, she wrote down everything on a clipboard and then she left the room and closed the door.

I sat by the window thinking about what had just happened.

'That was the first time I ever saw stampede mode on a Franxx. Souji, our mission giver, told us about it before we ever got to pilot a Franxx.' I thought.

Flashback...

"Now 9's, we all know the way to use a Franxx but you also need to know what can happen if you overuse the power in each Franxx. Stampede Mode. Stampede Mode occurs when a pilot loses control of his or her Franxx. When a Franxx is controlled by only its Pistil, their negative factor will rise rapidly and the FRANXX will take on a more beast-like appearance. This can take a huge toll on the Pistil. So make sure you never go that far to lose control." Souji said.

End of flashback...

'If I hadn't made Zero Two feel jealous none of this would have ever happened. She wouldn't have felt left out or so alone. How can I call myself her friend when I hurt her.' I thought.

A couple of minutes later the nurse comes back and tells me a couple of things that I should know.

"Your going to be alright, just try not to strain yourself so much because it can be dangerous. Other than that, you are free to go." She said opening the door.

I got off the bed and walked towards the door into a waiting area.

"You can sit here and wait for 9'a, Code 000." She said leaving me alone.

I then thought about 9'a. He had been acting strange all morning but never told me why.

*sighs* "What is going on with everyone lately and why now?" Code Zero says.

In the other room..(9'alpha's POV)

"Well 9'a, as always, your not injured. Just a slight scratch on your face, but other then that you should be fine." The doctor said.

I nodded as the doctor left.

'How can they use her as a weapon. She isn't a weapon. Their all liars. Yeah, that's it, liars.' I thought trying to avoid any thoughts of Code Zero being a weapon.

I stood up and walked towards the door to leave. When I opened it, I saw Code Zero sitting there, waiting for me. I smiled as she looked at me and she also had a smile.

'Even if it's true, I'll spend all of the left over time we have together.' I thought.

End of 9'alpha's POV

Code Zero turned and saw 9'a standing at the door of a room. He smiled and she smiled back at him. She stood up as he walked towards her.

"Are you alright, My Lovely?" Asked 9'a.

"Yes, I'm okay." She said smiling.

"We should head back to the battle arena to watch the rest of the battles between everyone else on the 9's." He said.

"Alright, let's go." I told him.

We walked back to the arena in silence and sat down on the other side of the battle arena. We watched as Codes 003 and 007 vs Code 005 battled eachother.
