Gerard's P.O.V

I went for a walk while Yasmin was with Johnny. I can't believe he's using her. All my thoughts were on Yasmin and Johnny as I replayed the phone call conversation in my head. I felt so angry at him that I felt my body get hot. I was getting so frustrated that I just had to kick something while yelling at the world. I walked over to a tree and kicked it maybe for over 5 times. I pulled away and sighed as I saw a lady and a homeless guy just starring at me.

Gerard:"are you guys dead?"

I ask them, their eyes went wide and they walked away. That was just weird. I took a seat on the bench next to me and ran my fingers through my hair and sighed. I pictured Yasmin in my mind, her eyes, her smile, her soft black hair; God she's perfect...I have to go back for her, I just have too. I got up from the bench and made my way to Yasmin's house to see if I can find out where she is. I went inside the house and rushed upstairs. I went inside Yasmin's room and I see her sitting down on her bed crying her eyes out.

Gerard:"Yasmin...what happened?"

Yasmin:"You were right you know...he didn't want me. He never did. After dinner we went inside a hotel r-room a-and..."

she says as she starts crying louder.

Gerard:"Please tell me you guys didn't do it."

Yasmin:"No...we didn't *sobs* t-that's why he left me."

she says and continues sobbing as I sat next to her.

Gerard:"You don't need him. He was a jerk to you when you deserved none of that. Don't let him bring you down. He's not worth those tears."

Yasmin: "Y-you really t-think so?"

Gerard:"I know it."

I said and the door opens revealing Miriam and Zoë.

Zoë:"Oh my god what happened to you?!"

Miriam:"Where's Johnny?"

Yasmin:"Gone."

Zoë: "Oh my god. I'm so sorry."

Miriam:"I know you loved him so much."

Yasmin: "He's not dead."

Zoë: "You said he was gone."

Yasmin: "Not that kind of gone."

Zoë walks over to Yasmin and sits in the same spot where I was, making her really cold to the point she had to sneeze so I stood up and went next to Miriam.

Zoë:"I'm really sorry honey, we'll let's get our mind off things, I met this really cute guy at the music store! His name is Matt!"

Matt? Why does that sound familiar?

Yasmin:"Matt what?"

Zoë:"Matt Sanders."

Matt Sanders, Matt Sanders, Matt Sanders, gosh that name is so familiar but I can't put a face to it. I know I've heard it before. Yasmin slightly nods.

Zoë:"Do you guys want to meet him?! We could go over there right now!"

Yasmin and Miriam agreed so I had no choice but to come and follow them. We started walking down the street and finally arrived to the music store.

Zoë: "Look there he is!"

Yasmin's P.O.V

Zoë pointed him out as we saw him helping out a customer and then finds Zoë and smiles. Zoë ran over to him so me and Miriam decided to look at CDs until we see them come towards us.

Zoë:"guys, I'd like you to meet, Matt Sanders."

Matt:"Hey."

he says, we politely say hi to him as Gerard stands behind me.

Gerard:"Oh my god it's him! We were best friends in high school, it would be me, him and Billie Joe Armstrong. Ask him about me."

Yasmin: "um Matt...this is out of the blue but...were you friends with Gerard way?"

Matt: "um, yea. How do you know him?"

Yasmin:"uh.."

Gerard:"lie to him."

Yasmin:"he uhh, we met at a coffee shop and started talking. he talked a lot about you and billie."

Matt:"oh...well yea, though he died like a year ago...I thought you said you guys just moved here?" 

he turns to look at Zoe who has a look of confusion.

Gerard:"tell him that I'm sorry about his dog."

Yasmin: "he's told me that he's sorry about your dog."

Matt:"my dog died a few weeks ago, how did you know about my dog?"

Gerard: "you're on your own sugar."

Shit. I think I just got caught. Miriam and Zoë were looking at me while Matt crossed his arms. Shit Gerard help me! My prayers didn't work, my palms began to feel sweaty as I got more nervous so I turned around and ran out of the store as I bumped into two girls.

Yasmin:"ow!"

girl #1:"Are you ok?"

girl #2:"What's with the rush?"

Yasmin:"I'm fine thank you."

girl #1:"I'm Sarah."

girl #2:"And I'm Hailey, with a bump that hard, we won't let you pass until you tell us what's up."

they said, I heard my name getting called from far behind, I turn around and see that it was Miriam and Zoë with Matt behind them.

Gerard:"Run."
