Everything was so abnormal, all the events of the last week and of that current moment in time were so completely extraordinary by now, that just by looking at the actual Germany from Hetalia, her crush, laid on the ground only 6 feet in front of her, Jen was worried that she was going to pass out at any given moment in the next few minutes. He was wearing his usual black leather gloves, and, fortunately, the rest of his attire was good enough to protect him from the freezing cold air of that time of year, which was a long dark green trench coat, a pair of jeans and his brown boots.
The tall, muscular nation then looked up, which caught her by surprise as she wasn't expecting it, and after the couple of seconds it took for his eyes to focus as he'd clearly had a crash landing prior to waking up there, his bright blue eyes so similar to the brown-haired Briton's widened.
He tilted his head in confusion, slowly standing up and brushing himself off. "If you don't mind me asking, who are you, Fraulein? Und where am I?"
Now that he was fully stood up, he looked even hotter and she was trying very hard not to smile to herself or involuntarily cause her cheeks to turn a bright shade of pink at the memory of the moment when she saw him shirtless in Japan's hot spring in one episode.
"Uh... my name's Jenny Integra, Mr. Beilschmidt." Her legs were almost shaking in joint nervousness and extreme happiness. "And you're in London, in a parallel universe, I'd say. Or an alternate dimension I don't know... there is a difference..."
"Wait what? You know my name? How?!" He became a little startled in his mind that he'd never met her before, but nonetheless for some reason she knew HIM.
"Right! Yes! Sorry. It's a very long story, to put it in short terms. Do you know how you got here, sir?"
"Oh? Let me think for a second... I believe I can remember it, but it's a little fuzzy..." The central-European country raised his fingers to his chin in thought, trying to rack his brain for the correct memory, anything that could tell him how he ended up falling from his own universe straight into the human world.
And then it finally came to him.
"Ja, I remember now." Said Germany in realisation. "I can't remember the exact details, but me and my friend Italy were walking on our way to our other friend Japan's house and we ended up smacking straight into something that was invisible, and before we could register what was happening, we both got pulled into it as soon as we touched it, even just for a second."
"Then maybe Italy's around here somewhere? 'Cause by the sounds of it, he fell through what was probably a portal at the same time as you, to perhaps he's in the same area right now?" Pondered Jenny while gaining more excitement at the prospect of meeting yet ANOTHER character from her favourite anime. While she said this and let most of her brain do that sort of work, the rest of her mind worked quietly in the background, debating whether or not to get an authograph from them or anything of that nature, or worrying that somehow she'd end up accidentally getting something wrong and making the wrong impression, like meeting a celebrity in real life. But she reassured herself as it was so far so good.
"That is a good point..." Agreed Ludwig, turning his head in all directions in search for his pasta-loving pal. And then, almost like it was in the film Beetlejuice, where they said his name too many times and he therefore appeared, more footsteps drew the pair's attention to off to the right, where a squeaky widdle voice called out,
"Germany? Where are you? Are you hiding from me? Because please, that was only funny at last year's Christmas party at America's house and I'm starting to get worried right now!" Then the next sound to be heard was a high-pitched, pained yelp as Feliciano Vargas wasn't fully looking where he was going and tripped up over a tree root fused into the top levels of the ground, sending him clumsily tumbling forwards, head over heels, into the clearing where his buddy and the human girl were stood. The klutzy way in which the Mediterranean country had made his appearance was what prompted a sigh from the taller male.
"Ve~! Hi Ludwig!" Chirped the Italian, obviously not even fazed by tripping over onto the ground into seconds beforehand. "And ciao signorina! My name's Italy!" He added upon noticing the female.
"Do you want me to help you up?" She offered with a slight laugh because of him being as funny as he was in the series.
"Si, that'd be great!" His hand formed into a thumbs-up and grabbed onto her outstretched arm as she pulled him up onto his feet. "Grazie!"
"Feliciano, this is Jenny. She says we might have fallen through an interdimensional portal, and that its how we managed to get here." Introduced Germany.
"So basically this place is another world?" Italy cocked his head to one side. "Kinda a scary prospect but also very cool! What's this world like?" He asked Jen out of curiosity.
"Not that much different to your own, almost. A couple of differences that I'll explain soon." She looked towards the sky, and noticed that it was bordering on completely dark now that the sun had turned in for the night. "It's getting dark, so soon it won't be safe out here, though. I'll explain back at my flat in a few minutes."
Both nations nodded in acknowledgement and agreeing to come with her.
"You can make yourselves at home if you want. And sorry about the mess, sometimes I clutter up the place, but I'm getting round to fixing that, honest." She apologised later, once the trio had gotten back to her flat after she'd stealthily driven the 2 Hetalia countries without them getting spotted back there, so that they had a place to stay for the night and in the morning they could work out a plan to get them home.
"It's perfectly fine, signorina!" Said Italy, sitting himself down on the sofa.
"It it a little cluttered like you said, but not too much, so at least you're not too messy." Added Germany, agreeing with him. "So, back there, you said something about knowing me and Italy's names? Und that it was a long story?"
After placing her coat on the hook by the door, she then took off into her explanation, about her powers and armoured form and how she got them, how Hetalia and their world was an anime series where she was from, which was her most favourite TV show, and, once she had enough self-confidence, mentioned how they, Prussia and Japan were her most favourite characters in it.
"So what you're telling us is that we're essentially... TV stars?" Queried Ludwig. He was in the middle of trying not to let himself blush when she said that he was one of her favourites, as that would have been a very embarrassing situation indeed.
"Veeee~! Such a fantastical turn of events! We have a fanbase! Isn't that so belissimo?" Feli turned to his fellow nation in excitement.
"Ja, I suppose it is. It's just something I never really expected..."
"I understand that. This in an entirely different universe, so you were probably already confused and freaked out enough as it was. I'm sorry if I told you this all at once and shocked you..."
"What? Nein, its fine." The blonde man held up his hand in reassurance. "There's really no need to keep apologising, you know."
"Thank you." Nodded the girl. "Right then, if you 2 are staying here for tonight, I'll see if I can get some spare pillows and blankets. This is a one-bedroom flat, I'm afraid, so all I can offer you both to sleep on is the sofa and the floor."
"That'll be alright, grazie again!" Grinned Feliciano.
As soon as she'd left the room to go and look for spare blankets and pillows like she said and was out of sight, she did a mental squee to herself like there would be absolutely no tomorrow.
