"It's over, you 2! Put your hands up where we can see them RIGHT NOW!" China bellowed once him and the others accompanying him had reached the room where all the action was going on, after hearing Italy shout the signal a few seconds ago. Yao's wok was raised in both of his hands as part of his attack-ready stance, and his eyes were a pair of clear indicators for his current emotional state, which was fury that both Keates and Peugot have not only committed such dishonourable acts as abduction and experimentation in the past but have repeated these same misdeeds - his friends beside him were experiencing surprise at his facial expression, as it was only very rarely before this occasion that they'd ever seen him this angry before.
"Wait what? Guys, you should get out of here before something bad happens!" Said Jenny, who had spent the last few minutes trying her absolute best to freeze one of Martin's feet to the floor by using her cryokinetic power to cover whichever foot she chose in a thick layer of ice; so far all she'd managed to accomplish was getting a little bit of frost to creep halfway up the back of his shoe, because her kinetic abilities worked best when she could actually see whatever she wanted to use them on, and at this current moment the laid down position she was in on the metal table made it near impossible for her to turn her head into the correct angle to see his feet. She was still trying even while she spoke these words.
"Something bad already happened, Jen. And the whole reason for why we're here in the first place is so that we can get both you and Starry out of here, away from the people who caused that bad thing to happen." Eleanor shot the same type of glare as the one China was displaying right now over at the 2 adversaries.
"Listen to your buddy here. Or else what she said just might come true - something bad'll happen." Keates told her. He then wasted no time in picking up a pistol from the table next to him, where the notes from his and Jason's research were laid out haphazardly, and aimed it at Ells' forehead.
"You're seriously crossing yet another line now, 'doctor'." Said England, shocking everyone when he suddenly pulled out what seemed to be an extendable sword from his pocket. It was indeed a rather long beauty, also being thin and so sharply pointed that the tip of its blade twinkled brightly like a metallic star under the lamp not too far away, and on the sword's handle there was an emerald, almost the exact same colour as the orbs illuminating his face, placed symmetrically in the middle and serving as the highlight of the weapon overall.
"Where did you get that from?" Sandra whispered to him out of curiosity.
"I've had it for quite a while, I just haven't really had a proper use for it until now." Her lover quietly replied out of the side of his mouth, at the same time as maintaining his demeanour of building anger towards the enemy.
"Britain isn't wrong." Added Russia in agreement with what he'd said about him crossing another line of morality. This was further reinforced as, while still smiling from imagining how he'd bring the pair to the justice they deserved more than anything else, Ivan lifted up his own trusty weapon: the Magic Metal Pipe of Pain.
By now almost everyone in the room was pointing some kind of weapon at the opposition, and as a whole the tense atmosphere around them all was so thick that you could slice it in half with a knife. The (metaphorical) wolves on both sides of this battle were baring their fangs at each other, with any kind of sudden attack having the power to ignite them into the epic fight which was to come sooner or later.
Everyone fell silent; this silence proved itself to be ironically deafening, and it felt like every second they spent like this only increased the already high level of tension, even if it was a much slower method compared to the aforementioned trigger which could occur at any given moment. At least this was the case until at last Peugot took the chance to fire his own gun at Arthur, making Starry yelp loudly from the loud noise of the gunshot and Italy, who was stood slightly off to the side next to his friends, showed the same reaction except he also leapt about a foot and a half into the air from the startlement. Luckily, England had partly seen something like this coming because of remembering what Jason's behaviour was like, so by the sheer grace of God he'd managed to lean out of the way of the bullet, and as it whizzed past he could nearly feel it skimming across the top of his cheek. Another fortunate thing was that it was a very close shave but there was no damage at all, not even a teeny tiny graze mark.
