We are so sorry for taking so long to update! Hope you enjoy~

POV Jimin

After I drained her body, I felt like I was unstoppable. I haven't felt this kind of power in so long that it surprised me. I somehow just knew where they were keeping Jin and it infuriated me. They were so rough with him the last time I saw him. What if they hurt…  No. I headed towards him as fast as I could. Not letting anyone stop me. I stopped running when I saw Yoongi standing in front of the door. “Yoongi, please. You can't keep me from him.”

I did my best to keep a calm facade to try to get Yoongi to move but inside I was freaking out. My father could have already ordered his death. He didn't move as I tried to reason with him. “I have orders…”

“Yoongi” I warned.

The emotion on his face disappeared as he stood in my way. I was about to react when the door opened and someone came out. “Prince Jimin!”

His facade was excitement but everyone besides him could see his fear. I barely looked away from Yoongi as he stood there. “Oh! I have a message from Jin. He doesn't want to see you. He just wants to go home.”

I was starting to lose my patience. He was lying, he had to be. Even Yoongi didn't look convinced. “Then he can tell me that to my face.”

I tried to push past him and Yoongi, but he didn't budge. The doctor was already halfway down the hall. I heard someone walk up behind me, but didn't move. “Yoongi, please. For once, just think for yourself and not the king. What has he ever done for you?” Jungkook was behind me trying to reason with Yoongi.

“He's kept us alive! Why would I go against the only person who has helped us survive?”

“I promise that nothing will happen to either of you. Please, just trust me.”

I felt calmer, like I was actually getting somewhere. Power was flowing through me. It gave me the ability to physically remove Yoongi, but I couldn't bring myself to hurt him. Watching him move two uncertain steps to the left gave me the confidence I needed to just walk into the room. This time, nothing happened. No one stopped me.

I walked into the dark room, able to see everything. Jin was chained to the bed, moving slowly as he groaned in pain. “Jin” I called out, not really sure what I was expecting.

He went still for a second. “Y-you need to leave” he bluntly stated.

I could hear the pain in his words as he spoke. I wasn't going to give up that easily. I walked towards the bed. “I said stop” he sounded more confident, but he didn't believe in the words he was saying.

“Jin, I don't know what that doctor said to you but he was lying.”

“I don't know you. I can't trust you. You don't want anything to do with a commoner like me.”

I continued walking to the bed, stopping next to it. He looked up at me with hunger in his eyes. He looked away, not saying a word.

“Jin” I placed my hand on his arm. “Please, you can trust me. I only want to help.”

He faced me and I knew I needed him. I need him to trust me, but I also needed him to love me. I bent down even further and connected our lips. Euphoria spread through me as he kissed back. I broke the chains holding him to the bed like they were toothpicks.

He pulled away, his face bright red and his eyes wide. “It's okay Jin, you did nothing wrong.”

The look on his face didn't disappear. He looked like he wanted to say something but stopped himself. “What's wrong?”

“I-I..” He doubled over, grabbing his stomach in pain.

“Jin, what's wrong?”

“His vampire blood is attacking the human blood” a voice behind me said.

The doctor was back, he was leaning in the doorway. There were a couple of guards behind him.  “How do you know that?”
“I took a sample and it tested positive for vampire blood. One of his parents had to have been a vampire. The cells lie dormant for a majority of his childhood. They aren’t usually active until the they meet their mate. We don’t know much about the offspring of a pureblood and a half-breed, but would you really chance that? We don’t even know if Jin can get pregnant, and he doesn't have any sort of royal blood.”

“I don’t care.”

“You're being selfish. Think about your future. If you mate with him, and he can’t produce, then you won’t have offspring. Don’t do something stupid.”

I didn’t look away from Jin. He sat there, silently suffering. I can't ignore him. He needs me. “I’ve made my decision.”
