~Chapter 36~

I sidestepped a kick from a creature with chains wrapped around his wrists, he wrapped them around my leg but I snapped and untangled them and unsnapped.

A year back I had learned thanks to Aizawa how to unsnap quickly saving my energy, we also figured out why my quirk would cause Aizawa to be stuck in a time stop with me.

It was because, at the moment when a guy was about to shoot me and Aizawa my quirk had grown attached to Aizawa as another host, we figured out how to release it so in case of a battle my quirk wouldn't interfere with his fighting.

Which had come in handy for this special moment, I used my knife to cut the chains off his wrists. I slammed my knee into his chest and he fell over, sweat was dripping off my face.

"Fourteen" I breathed out, that's how many I had knocked unconscious, I could tell Aizawa was weakening and his eyes were growing drier.

Using his quirk multiple times was painful, I could relate. My eyes widened when I saw the purple warpy dude disappear, I could see Aizawa had the same frustrated face I did.

I saw students flung into different areas, "He separated the students!" I shouted and Aizawa grunted in aggravation and exhaustion.

I saw the guy with hands rush at Aizawa and my heart fluttered, "Final boss" Aizawa stated before preparing his scarf.

They ran at each other while I kept the remaining thugs at bay, I would snap continuously and the Villains couldn't see where I was coming from. I misstepped while snapping though and a villain got my hair and slammed me to the ground.

I yelped and the air got knocked out of my lungs, Aizawa elbowed the Boss villain in the stomach. But the Boss Villain grabbed his elbow and my mouth opened to speak but no words came out as the worthless thug put his foot on my chest.

I wheezed and tried kicking up but the other thugs helped him hold me down, "It was hard to see when you were jumping around, but I found your tell. It's your hair" his voice was so disdainful like a snake.

"When it drops it means you've stopped using your quirk." I watched as Aizawa's shoulder was injured, "You're having to blink more often, don't push yourself too hard now. You might just fall apart" I couldn't believe what I was seeing, it must be a deterioration quirk.

"Wouldn't that be a shame?" Aizawa's muscle was showing and I felt this rage built up inside me like the first time I saw Aizawa covered in bruises after a tough villain encounter.

I screamed really loudly and snapped my fingers and wriggled out of their grasps, I unsnapped and was about to turn to go help Aizawa because more villains saw him vulnerable and thought they had a chance but I felt a pain in my left shoulder.

"Your quirk is just as fascinating as his" My blue eyes Enlarged and I felt his other hand snake around my neck.

"Killing a pro-hero like you would be quite the accomplishment" he was sadistic, "How do you know I'm a pro..." I whispered and he chuckled.

"You wouldn't be here if you weren't" I snapped my finger and got free from him, my shoulder oozing blood.

"Shit" I knelt to the ground and winced, I held my neck realizing how close to death I just was. When I unsnapped the boss villain opened his arms to show how pleasantly surprised he was at me getting free, "I hate it when you pros live up to your hype" He shifted and looked at a gasping for air Aizawa.

"That annoying quirk of yours isn't suited for drawn-out fights against big groups is it? don't you think you're a little out of your element here, EraserHead? Your friend just got her shoulder injured just like your arm, maybe its time to call quits. You're much better at working stealthy, you're known for surprise attacks not fighting head to head, but despite knowing that... you didn't hesitate to jump into the middle of this fight to put your students at ease."
