Fooled.

You threw me for a loop

And I fell hard

But who can blame me?

You were so alluring 

Like the human equivalent of a forbidden fruit

You really had me convinced for a second there

You said we were perfect together

And I'll admit

You made my blood rush whenever you grazed me

I still miss you

But this distant silence is for the better

Cause the world knows that if I touch you again

Nothing can stop my collapse
