i loved you so intensely

i loved you all with the fury of the rainstorms i watched with intent

i want to be remembered for the way i wished to be near you

the world knows it was stronger than any rage my mind would offer

your touch made me soften

it was like a dream

so when the storm rolled in

i merely leaned in closer
