you were the curse they could never take from me

you are every time my voice gets louder

every time i cease hesitating and snap back

it's as if you want to watch me wreck my relationships 

or at least make me fear that i did

i suppose it's your revenge 

a long and convoluted one at that

since you die down before and after the process
