Calum

Y/N's POV:

"She is so mean! She didn't even give us time to digest the information!" I groan. My teacher didn't even give us time to write the homework down, she just erased it from the board after explaining it. I was so mad, she gave us assignments and expects us to have the supplies by tomorrow in her class. It's only the first few days! Calum looks at me funny and links his arm with mine. "It's okay, it's still the first week." He smiles over to me, I return the smile and put my pencil in one of the pockets from my bag. "How are your classes?" I ask. He shrugs, "Everything's fine but it sucks that we only have Spanish together." I agree, "I know! Yo me llamo Y/N?" I ask more than state. "Yo me llamo Calum?" He repeats my line but replaces the names. I shrug and we walk out the building to the cafeteria. A girl bumps into my shoulder and I glare at her, she completely ignores me and turns to Calum instead. "Hey Calum! I was wondering if you could take me to the gym?" The girl bats her eyelashes. Who is she? "Oh, sure." He unhooks his arm from mine and walks away, he doesn't say bye or anything. The girl turns back and smirks at me. "What the hell?" I whisper and knit my eyebrows. I stand there for a while before moving my feet. "Hey Y/N. You looked like a freak standing in the middle of the cafeteria." Tyler giggles, I give him the finger and stick my rounds out. He returns the gesture before turning a corner. I roll my eyes and decide to go to my locker in the back of the school. "Hey, where'd you go?" I turn around and see Calum grinning. "Well, we are at my locker..." I gesture to the hallway and take out my biology textbook. "I know." He continues to grin. I sigh, "What?" I ask holding my book to my chest. "You know the girl who stopped us?" He excitedly says, I don't get to say anything before he starts again. "Her name is Lesley, and she said she likes me!" He raises his hand to high five me but all I do is roll my eyes and walk past him. He grabs my arm and turns me back around, "What's wrong Y/N?" He asks. "Gee, I don't know Calum. You just left me without even saying bye. I don't even know who she is." I know I'm making a big deal out of this, but I looked and felt like a fool. "Sorry about that. And her name's Lesley and I like her." Calum shrugs. My eyes widen, "Wow. Best friends for 6 years and you didn't tell me!" I slap his chest. He doesn't even wince and calms me down, "Y/N, I've only been liking her for a few weeks, I didn't even know my feelings for her until today." I nod my head, "She smirked at me." I say. "Why?" He asks and sits on the floor. I take a seat beside him and lay my head on his shoulder. "I don't know, she just smirked at me when she turned around, but I'm happy you like someone." I explain."Yeah, me too." He replies. "But if she does something I don't like, I'm going to punch her in the face." I promise, I might not punch hard, but if I do it with my elbow it'll hurt. "Don't... You know what? I don't care, I won't be able to stop you anyway." Calum scowls down at me. All I do is grin back and play with his backpack.

Luke

Y/N's POV:

I was sitting in a table with Luke, Michael, Calum, and Ashton, waiting for our food. "Sorry guys, I have to leave." Luke puts his jacket on all of a sudden and pushes the chair forward. "Where are you going? We just got here." I complain, the lads just got a break from their tour with One Direction and he's already leaving. It's been exactly 4 months since the last time we all hung out together, and I haven't seen Luke for 5 months. I miss him so much, well all of them, but I know I'll only be his best friend. The girl who would rather hang out with boys than girls, who will always be there when her friends get drunk and drive them home, the girl who will only be known as his friend. "I know, but Rose needs me home and I have to." He runs out the restaurant without hugging me, freaking 5 months. I shake my head, "Rose always needs something doesn't she?" I ask, annoyed by Rose, Luke's girlfriend. She isn't really a peach, if you ask me. "I know! We only get a few breaks, and that's the time we get to hang out" Ashton pouts. "I don't like her." Calum confesses, and we all agree. We're not trying to bad mouth Rose, it's just that she's not the one for Luke. Luke is a kind hearted guy, who'll buy a girl pads when she needs them, who'll cuddle all day with her just to be close, who'll protect her from harm like a guardian angel. "Y/N?" Michael sings and throws a fry at me. I glare at him, "I was just thinking about how Rose isn't the one for Luke." I say, I'm not completely lying right? "Same! I ship you guys together." Ashton smugly replies. Heat rises up to my cheeks and I turn red. "Aww... Is someone blushing?" Calum pinches my cheek. I swat his hand away and slightly nod. Why do I need to lie? They know anyways, and they're my only friends. I need to find more people to hang out with, but I don't like people so... "He'll just have to figure that out himself. We can't force him to break up with her." I sadly say, why can't he realize she's not good for him. "We'll drop hints Y/N, don't worry." Ashton winks. "I wasn't worrying about anything dork face." I roll my eyes. "Whatever you jerk! I was trying to help." Ashton says back with his tongue out. "You still want that tongue?" I threaten and raise my eyebrows. Ashton immediately puts his tongue back where it belongs and crosses his arms like a baby. "Baby..." Michael coughs and smiles after. We all burst out laughing. When we get the chance to hang out, we simply have fun and forget about our lives for a while. We joke about everything and laugh when we get problems, our only problem now is Rose and Luke.
