Y/N's POV:

"Who the hell is she?" Luke's girlfriend snapped. I chuckled, and reached my hand out for her to shake. I recoiled when she continued to glare instead of smile.

"This is my best friend Y/N. Y/N, this is my girlfriend Adrian." Luke introduced us to each other. I already knew her, Luke told me how sweet and caring she was a few weeks back. She didn't look like how he described her though.

Adrian always had her eyebrows knitted together as if she was angry. She had a sly smirk displayed on her lips with the feeling of power. She didn't support Luke or the band at all. She didn't care about the music they played every time they performed, I don't think she even knew what kind of music they constructed. She was sticking around for the money, and fame she received for dating Luke Hemmings.

Adrian was a monster, and she certainly didn't deserve Luke.

Although I didn't like her, I tried my hardest to act nice. If Luke liked her for some amazing reason, I had to like her too, even if I was just pretending.

I faked a smile as she looked me up, and down before facing Luke. "Are you going to be home tonight?" She asked. Luke and I were supposed to have a movie marathon tonight.

We've been planning this for ages since he was always busy. Tonight was the only night he'd be free until a long time. The band was getting famous and known, they had places to be.

He glanced at me, asking for permission to skip tonight for another day. I gave him a small nod, not wanting the witch to see me.

"Yeah, I will." Luke replied. She tiptoed to reach Luke's lips, and left a mark of red lipstick behind. I cringed, looking away because I didn't enjoy the view.

"I'll wait for you in my underwear." Adrian whispered in his ear. I guess she didn't know what whispering meant because I clearly heard her.

I rolled my eyes, and walked to the stage where the band would be performing tomorrow.

I sighed as I took in the large space. It could probably fit hundreds of people. I closed my eyes, and imagined the room filled with people bobbing their head to the band's songs.

I was so proud of Luke for making it, for achieving his dream along with the rest of the guys. They've been working so hard, and they finally got what they deserved.

Luke was my best friend, but I felt like a fan to him. He was forgetting what friendship truly meant ever since he started dating Adrian.

She controlled him, everything he did and where he went. They both treated me like a maid who would follow like a dog at the snap of their fingers.

I forgave Luke because he was my other half, but I didn't forgive Adrian. She didn't know me well enough to boss me around, and I didn't know her well enough to say everything was cool.

The smell of smoke entered my nose, and I looked for the source. I couldn't find it, and that was when I started panicking.

It didn't smell like burnt food, it smelt of burning plastic. The smell was disgusting, but I wasn't sure if there was a fire.

I covered my mouth with my sleeve as the smoke spread out the stage like wildfire.

It turned out there was a fire somewhere in the stadium, and everyone seemed to have vanished.

"Luke?" I yelled, running back to the dressing room where him and Adrian were a few minutes ago.

"Luke!" I called again. Where were the guards? Where was Luke? Where did everyone go?
