Luke's POV:
"Do we have a deal or not." I snap at the drunk man in front of me. "Yeah, here." He slurs and hands me the payment for the package. "I'll see you soon Hemmings." I glare at him, and push his guards out of my way. "I hate this job so much." I whisper to myself as I get on my motorcycle. I take in the city lights on my way home, the tall buildings going past me. I finally get to my apartment, and park my bike in an open space. I sigh, walking up the stairs to the lobby. I roughly unlock the door, and run up the stairs to the second floor. I slam the door, walking to the couch to take a nap before my fifth delivery tonight. "Luke!" I jump up and look around the living room, I get paranoid easily. I groan and crack my neck, opening the door to see Chet with another box. "To who." I nod and carry the box to my side. "Ethan." He replies then leaves the building. "Fuck Ethan." I say and grab my helmet, leaving it hanging on my fingers. Ethan is not someone to mess around with, I learned that when he killed my brother last year for taking a bit of his order. I didn't know he'd take it seriously, I only took a little to even notice the difference. On my way down I don't dare to peek in the box, I just toss it behind my bike in the carrier. I'm so tired, I just want a fucking break from this. It was fun doing this when I was 19, but it's getting dangerous these days. Cops are always on my ass, and I hate it. I need to start over, I'm 21 for fucks sake, I need to find a real job. I don't notice that I'm by Ethan's house because of all this thinking on the way here. "Hemmings." I snap impatiently at the guys guarding the door. They let me in, carefully watching my moves. "Stop staring at me, it's not like I'm going to kill anyone." I smirk back at them, they glare at me but leave me alone. There might have been a time when I killed one of Ethan's men for messing with me. "Oh Luke, stop scaring my boys." I lift my head to see Ethan going down the stairs in a big furry robe, as usual. "I'm just here for you're package and the money Ethan." I say, I really don't want to stay long with the guy who killed my brother. "Relax man." He pats my back, and I tense up more. He hands me two grand, smiling like a maniac when I hand him his package. I roll my eyes, and leave when he gestures me to go. How do people even like cocaine, it's horrible for their body. Whatever, I shouldn't judge, I smoke everyday. Ethan's my final drop off so I can finally sleep without any interruptions. When I get home I stay out for a smoke, but see this girl having trouble lighting hers.
