Calum

Y/N's POV:

"Calum, I don't think I can do this. There are so many people, what if they hate me? Oh crap, what if I forget the words and mess up? This was a bad idea, I don't want to do this anymore." I tightly grip the electric guitar in my hands. "Y/N, you got this. They are going to love you. All you have to do is open up for us and take Michael's place since he's sick. Just a few songs babe." Calum kisses my forehead, calming me down a little. "What songs are we playing?" I ask and put the strap around my shoulder. "Good Girls, Amnesia, Tomorrow Never Dies, and your opening, Still Into You." He counts the songs with his fingers as he says them. "So four songs, okay. I got this." I whisper the last part to myself. I'm so nervous, what if I screw up? Many people will laugh and take videos of me fail or succeed. I need to calm down, everything will be fine. "On in one." A guy says behind me and runs off to wherever. "Do I go alone?" I nervously ask, can someone come with me? "If you want, I can play bass." Calum shrugs. I smile and wrap my arms around his neck, "Yes please!" He chuckles and hugs me back. We walk to the stage and my eyes widen at the sight of the stadium, that's a lot of people. Calum sees my face and grabs my hand reassuringly. "Let's do this." I say and hold on my electric guitar by it's neck. "Hi guys! I'm glad you guys made it here to watch us perform. This is Y/N, and she's going to be replacing Michael for tonight. He feels sick and couldn't come, he says he wishes he was here though!" Calum explains the reason I'm here, and why Michael is not here. The crowd boos that Michael isn't here then applauses when I start playing Still Into You. Calum's bass joins in with mine, and it sounds amazing. I sing the song and finish with a strum. The crowd screams while me and Calum go backstage. "That was..." Calum starts but I finish, "Amazing." I put my guitar down and jump on Calum's back, "Three more songs!" I yell. He laughs and carries me to the break room. "Good job Y/N!" Michael yells when we enter. "What the hell? You're supposed to be resting." Calum scolds Michael as he sets me down. "I am resting." Michael rolls his eyes at us, and takes a bite of pizza. "Go, Luke and Ashton are already on stage waiting for you guys." He points to the t.v in the corner. I look at Calum and we sprint to the stage. "Finally! We thought we'd have to call the police!" Ashton jokes. Luke looks at me and nods, playing Good Girls. I start playing too and focus on the notes that I'm playing. Hopefully, I don't mess up and disappoint the guys along with the fans. After the concert, the guys go backstage to meet some fans while I put the guitar away. I missed a few notes on some songs, but I don't think it was noticeable. Playing in front of hundreds of people is very frightening, I don't know how the guys do it. "Y/N!" I hear my name being called, I walk to where Calum is and wrap my arm around his waist. "What's up?" I ask and lean my head on his side. "These lovely girls wondered if they could have a picture with you." Calum gestures to the girls in front of us, like four of them. I don't see why they want a picture with me, I'm not really important. "I'd love to." I reply and take a place in the middle of them. They do a silly pose so I do one too, my tongue out. "Thank you so much!" The girl takes her phone from Calum and doesn't hug him but hugs me. "You're welcome! Hope you guys had fun." I say and wave. When I turn back to Calum, he holds a pout, "They didn't even say bye or hug me." I roll my eyes, and walk towards him. I tiptoe and kiss his lips lightly, making him want more. He puts my hands around his neck and kisses me again. "Eww, please don't." Niall groans, along with the rest of the guys. "I think it's cute, just do it somewhere else yeah?" Harry chuckles and drinks water. Calum groans back and brings me in the dressing room. Our lips attach once again with no one to interrupt us. "Guys! There is a rainbow outside right now." Ashton barges in the room. I pull apart and groan, they wanted us to leave and now they're following us. "We don't care Ash." Calum mumbles. "But it's a rainbow. I love rainbows and puppies. Please." He pleads with his hands clasped together. I look at Calum and raise my eyebrow, "Fine." Calum says and Ashton takes the lead. Sometimes I feel like we're the parents and Ashton is the baby. We start to run, and when everyone sees us running outside, they follow us. Zayn, Louis, and Liam stayed inside while Harry and Niall came with us. Ashton points to the rainbow, "See! Yes, there it is! C'mon let's do this." He gives a guy his phone and asks to take a picture of us. "Are you shitting me?" Luke face palms when he realizes this was for a rainbow. We all pose and point to the rainbow with the sky all gray and the ground wet. Ashton dances around and skips back inside, tripping in the process. "Fuck." He says but gains his balance, "I'm good." I laugh at him and wait for Calum who's a few feet behind me. He grabs my hand when he comes close, "We'll continue later." He whispers in my ear, sending chills throughout my body. I nod and smile up at him, receiving a smile back. I can't wait for later, my mind is imagining things it shouldn't be.
