Calum
Y/N's POV:
"Mom! Where's my dress?" I run down the hallway to my mom's room. She faces me and shrugs, "Thanks for the help..." I trail and walk to my sister's room. I gasp when I see her wearing my dress, different stains all over it. "What are you doing? I was going to wear that for my date!" I yell and demand her to take it off. "I'm sorry, it looked pretty." She pouts, she's only six so I have to forgive her. I sigh and sit on her bed, "You like it?" I ask with a small smile. "Yeah. It's really pretty. Can I have it?" Melony asks. I look at her and sigh annoyingly, "Well you ruined it, so I guess. But you have to help me pick another outfit." I point a finger at her and walk to my room, her small steps behind me. "This one?" I ask, we've been looking for almost an hour and nothing looks good. Melony shakes her head and jumps off my bed, "Where are you going? You're supposed to help me!" I yell. This is so frustrating, Calum's coming in 30 minutes and I don't even have anything to wear. I curl some pieces of my hair that's gone straight, and spray it with hairspray. "I got something!" Melony yells as she goes through my door. She hands me a white dress with yellow flowers covering it. "Where'd you get this?" I ask and slip it on. I look in my mirror and smile, it's perfect. "I got it from momma's closet." She stands next to me, looking pleased with what she got. "Mom? It looks nice though right?" I look at her through the mirror. She nods and the doorbell rings. We both look at each other with a weird face, Melony nodding her head as I go out my door. "I got it!" I yell and almost trip on my way there. "Hi." I say when I open the door and smile. "Hey Y/N. Umm... We can't go out today." Calum rubs the back of his neck. "What?" I stutter, I put so much effort into this, I even wasted Melony's time. "Yeah... Something's come up." He purses his lips. "Can I ask what?" I cross my arms and look at him. "Well, there's this other girl, and I promised to take her out before I asked you out." He explains, and doesn't look me in the eyes. "Wow." I mutter, I look at him one more time before closing the door on his face. I hear him sigh and walk away. "What happened?" Melony asks, walking up to me. "Something's come up. That means we can hang out." I smile when she groans. "Okay. But we're going to play dress up." She tries to hide her smile. I nod and follow her to my room, stopping by hers to hey a few things for this activity. We don't hang out a lot because of school and work, but this is nice. Bonding with my sister than going on a date with Calum, good thing he cancelled.
Luke
Y/N's POV:
"You look beautiful sweetheart." My dad compliments before going inside his study. "I hope so." I sigh and go to the park a block away, where Luke told me to meet him. I sit on a swing, and call Luke after a few minutes of the time he told me he'd be here. "Hello?" I hear him ask. "Hey. I'm here at the park. Where are you?" I look around to see if he's here. "Shit. I'm so sorry Y/N. I can't be there, my band and I are practicing." Luke says and laughs when someone whispers the word 'fart', thinking I wouldn't hear. "Oh, that's fine. I'll just wait here." I walk to an ice cream parlor across the street. "No, I meant I would be practicing all day. Maybe next time okay?" He rushes his words before hanging up. What the hell. I groan and earn a few stares from people. I want to flip them off but I might get kicked out, and I love ice cream too much. This is just a day wasted when I could've been playing video games all day. I order mint ice cream on a cone, and and sit on a booth alone. I look around the happy faces and frown, I should be here with Luke... That jerk. I roll my eyes and hear the bell ring, making me look at the door. "Mikey?" I ask, shouldn't he be practicing with the band? His eyes light up and he sits across from me. "Hey Y/N." He smiles and takes my ice cream cone. "Yeah, I wasn't eating that." I roll my eyes. He sticks his tongue out, and I ask him why he's here. "I heard Luke ditched you, so here I am." He grins and looks behind me. "I guess. But why?" I ask again. "To hang out with you, geez. Let's go in there." Michael points to the store behind me. "Walgreens?" I ask but follow him anyway. He takes my hand and I blush. Stop it face, don't do this to me. He leads me to the hair isle and takes two boxes of hair dye. "Pink?" I giggle and roll my eyes. "Yes Ms. rolling eyes." He says, "Me and you." My eyes widen and I shake my head, "No, I'm fine with brown hair." I hold the top of my head. "It's crap. Pink will look nice." He teases and buys them, along with chocolate bars. He drives us to his place, going directly to the bathroom to get this done. "Ready to upgrade your hair?" He asks as he puts gloves on. "No, but if you're going to do it then I will." I proudly say, sitting straight. "Alright then." After a long time he stops and tells me to do his. "I haven't done this before, so I'm going to try." I shyly say while I get the stuff out the box. Mikey shrugs and I start. I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing so I continue following the instructions, nothing like how Michael did it. "Done!" I shout and he winces, my voice echoing through the small bathroom, "Sorry." I chuckle. We both look in the mirror and smile. "We're twins." He puts his arm around my shoulders. I'll admit, it looks so cool and it does make my hair look nice. He takes his phone out and takes multiple pictures, I pose, mostly doing funny faces. "I'm going to send them to Luke and make him jealous." Michael smirks and sends them before I get a chance to take his phone. "Michael you jerk." I cross my arms, glaring at him. "I'm going to post it on twitter too so very one can see my partner in crime." He smiles mischievously. I know I can't stop him, so I just go with the flow.
