Y/N's POV:

I watched as Ashton lifted the cigarette to his lips. He blew smoke out of his mouth and nose.

The smoke surrounded the both of us as we sat in pure silence. We were outside the patio, staring at the busy streets of London.

It was an amazing sight to be honest. The sun was already setting so the sky held different colors. The streetlights were bright enough to actually make it safe to walk alone.

I turned my attention back to the guy in front of me. I admired how he looked so perfect without even trying. Hair tousled on one side, eyebrows knitted together in thought, nose scrunched up, cheeks pink from the slight breeze.

He glanced at me with a smirk evident on his lips. "You checking me out?" He asked.

"In your dreams Irwin." I replied, sending him a wink. "Trust me, I do." He said, making me raise an eyebrow. "Really now?" I asked in a teasing way.

He took another go at the cigarette before I took it away from him. I puffed out smoke, earning a smile from Ash. We both liked to smoke, it calmed us down and helped us forget about our problems even if it were just for a while.

"I always dream about you babe. How your lips would fit perfectly with mine. How you would look at me with innocent eyes even when we both know you aren't. How beautiful you'd look bending down on your knees." Ashton answered.

I blinked a few times before blushing. "Wow." I said. "I know." He sighed out.

He flicked the cigarette, and I peered down as it fell three floors down. I stared at his eyes as he did the same.

"Come with me." He said, and pulled me out from the patio. "What are we doing outside Ashton?" I asked. "Going on an adventure." He answered, and grinned.

My heart pounded from the adrenaline that rushed through my body as soon as the words left his lips. The sun had fully settled, and the night sky replaced it with stars glowing brightly.

"Alright, but where." I tried to be clear, following his footsteps. "Do you trust me?" He asked, merely glancing back at me.

I nodded, but remembered he couldn't see me. "Of course." I replied. I trusted him with my life.

He slowed down for me to catch up, and intertwined our fingers once I was next to him. There weren't any people roaming the streets, it was just us.

I began to get a feeling at the pit of my stomach, it still remained a mystery to where we were headed. "I found this place a few days ago, and thought you would love it." Ashton said as if reading my mind, it made me smile that he thought of me.

I'll make something clear, Ashton and I weren't together yet we acted like a couple. I badly wanted to be with him, but I didn't want to jeopardize our friendship. We were holding off fine.

I didn't want our relationship to end like a sappy love story. Two best friends falling in love, and going out on romantic dates with music playing in the background. They're perfect for each other because they have so many things in common, not because they've known each other for a long time, note my sarcasm. Plot twist, they break up and never see one another again.

We both knew we liked each other, but none of us made an attempt to make a move. I guess we were both afraid of what might happen if it didn't work. We were better off being friends anyway.

He halted next to the docks, watching the water crippling. "Don't tell me your plan is to jump in." I jokingly said. He smirked at me, a smirk I've known too well.

I shook my head disapprovingly, the water was probably really cold. "I'm not going in there." I protested. He shrugged and started undressing, making me look anywhere but his body.
