Calum
Y/N's POV:
I roll over to hug Cal then remember the date today. I sit up from my position, and check the time. "Calum!" I scream, rolling over him in the process. He squirms, and pushes me off the bed. I groan, but get up because I want him to wake up. I shake his shoulders, "It's Christmas!" I yell. Cal turns over, and I roll my eyes. I deeply sigh, and head to the kitchen. I glance at our Christmas tree, and see some ornaments scattered on the floor. "Fuck." I whisper, and pick them up. I close my eyes, and put them away for now, I'll hang them on later. I put two cups of milk in the microwave, and wait two minute. "Oww, it's hot." I say as the cups slightly burn my hands. I put cocoa mixture with marshmallows in the cups, and head back to the bedroom. "Is that hot chocolate I smell?" Cal says with his raspy voice. I roll my eyes because I knew this would get him up. "Will you go downstairs with me, and open the presents?" I ask. He sits up to look at me, "I don't know, this bed is really comfy." He smirks. I raise an eyebrow and shrug, "Fine, I guess I'll drink these on my own then." I say. Calum scoffs, and finally stretches which meant he's getting ready to stand up. I go downstairs, and get cozy on the couch. "Hurry up!" I yell. "I'm here!" Cal responds, and chuckles. I hand him his cup, and reach down to get a present I got him. He unwraps it, and widely smiles. "You got me strings?" He asks. He's been wanting new strings for his bass for a while now, and I bought it for Christmas. He pecks my lips, and gives me my present. "No you didn't Cal." I look at him with my mouth open. He nods, and grabs the diamond necklace from my hands. "Let me put it on you." He says while I lift my hair. I bit my lip from smiling even wider, this is the best Christmas. "Thank you so much Cal." I kiss his lips, and stand. He pouts, "Where are you going?" I ignore his calls, and get the present I hid from him under our bed. When I come back down, Calum's still pouting. I roll my eyes, and rounded the gift from behind my back. "You didn't have to get me anything." He says as he unwraps the box. "I told you that too, and you still got me something." I pointedly say. He shrugs, "I couldn't help it." He smiles. His answers were mine too, we both couldn't help ourselves from getting each other presents. "Do you like it?" I ask when his mouth drops. "You got me a new bass?" He asks. He's been wanting one for a few months, and he's been saving for it too. I decided to get it for him because he seemed like he wanted it so badly. "Maybe you can start a band." I joke, he has friends who can play. "I love you so much." Cal kisses my jaw. "At least you have two now, and new strings!" I yell, and watch him play. "You're really good." I compliment, and grin at how much he's having fun. He looks so good with bed hair, especially when he's playing. "Should we go to your mothers now?" I ask. We weren't going to my family's house because they lived too far while Calum's was a few minutes away. He nods, "I'm going to take a shower first." He says, and carefully puts the bass down. "Hurry up so I can use it after you." I call after him. "Let's shower together." He stops in his tracks to say. I shake my head, if I went with him we'll never get out of the house. "I'll put the presents in the car while you shower." I say as I pick some boxes up. He runs up, and I hear the water running. I hope they like the gifts we got them, and didn't mind us opening the gifts we got each other already. I set them all in the trunk, and lock it. "Merry Christmas!" Nat, our neighbor, yells. "Merry Christmas!" I reply, and go back inside. When I open the door to our bedroom, Calum's already dressed. "You were fast." I say, and start to strip my pajamas. "If you didn't rush me, I wouldn't be ready." He replies, wrapping his arms around my torso. "I have to shower Cal." I say as I push him away. "Fine, hurry up though." He says, and I can see his smirk behind the closed bathroom door. "Y/N, hurry up. You've been in there for ten minutes!" Cal impatiently yells. I roll my eyes, "I'm done." I say, and get out all dressed. "Oh." He says, and drags me to the car. We listen to Christmas music the whole way to his family's house. "Do you think they'll like the presents?" I ask as we pull into their drive way. "They'll love it, don't worry too much babe." He says, and carries all the boxes from the trunk. I ring the doorbell, and smile when Joy opens the door. I give her a bear hug, along with Mali and David. Calum puts the gifts down, and sits next to me on the couch. "How have you guys been?" Joy asks, intertwining her fingers with David. They are so perfect together, I can tell they truly love each other. "We've been good. Y/N got me a new bass, and strings this morning. We still love each other, so that's good." Calum replies, and chuckles. I giggle, and we talk about things we missed with one another.
