Taeyong didn't see him at all in two weeks. It was like he had vanished into thin air but he knew it was just because he had probably changed schools. Now that he knew that he couldn't see Jaehyun even by accident, it made him feel lonelier than ever.
He started hanging out more with Ji-Eun and of course Ten was with them too. He still hadn't made any progress to start dancing again and he wasn't even sure why. He wanted to but never felt like going to the dance studio.
Now he was debating whether or not to call Ji-Eun and ask her about Jaehyun. He had just came home from school and now he was bored and lonely. He knew that he had Jaehyun's number too but he couldn't bring himself to call directly to him so instead he called Ji-Eun. She picked up after a few beeps.
"Ji-Eun, um...do you know where I could find him?"
"Him?"
"Jaehyun."
"Why are you asking? Aren't you seeing each other?" Two weeks ago she had walked in Jaehyun's room in the morning when the two were still sleeping. She had seen them snuggled up close to each other so she had thought they had made up. His brother and Taeyong had no idea that she knew about their sleeping arrangements.
"Why would you think that? We're not together!"
"You're not?! I just thought..." It got quiet after that. Taeyong was confused. He didn't even know if he wanted to be together with Jaehyun but he did know that he somehow missed him and he wanted to see him all the time.
"So...can you tell me?"
"What do you wanna know?"
"Um...where is he now?"
"He has been working in some Starbucks for a week now. He also moved back home last weekend and quit school, if you didn't know. "
"Can you text me the address?"
"Sure. His shift ends at 9 PM."
"Thanks Ji-Eun. Please don't tell him that I asked about him."
"I won't. See you tomorrow." Taeyong ended the call after saying his goodbyes. Jaehyun would get off work after three hours so he decided to wait for sometime before he'd leave. He didn't know what he wanted to say to him. Just wanted to see him.

Taeyong walked in the coffeeshop but he couldn't see the one he was looking for. He was so nervous and scared as he didn't know what Jaehyun's reaction would be if he saw him here. Maybe he didn't even want to see him anymore. Maybe he would be together with the someone he liked and forgotten about him. Suddenly, he regretted even asking Ji-Eun about him.
He walked to the counter and ordered a coffee. The man who took his order looked young, maybe the same age as him. Taeyong debated if he should ask him about Jaehyun.
"Excuse me?" He said before the man managed turn away. He looked at the customer again with a smile. "Do you happen to know if- if-"
Just then someone walked to the worker and the two exchanged a few words. Taeyong immediately recognized who it was.
"Jaehyun?" The said male turned to him and Taeyong was sure he looked surprised.
"Oh, Taeyong...how come you're here?" Why did he sound disappointed?
"Um...just coffee?" Taeyong mentally hit himself for sounding unsure. He and Jaehyun just stared each other in their own world for some time, neither saying anything. Both wordless for the same reason.
"Jaehyun you can take a few minutes off if you two want to talk. We don't even have that many customers now," The waiter next to Jaehyun broke their bubble as he noticed the tension between the two.
"Oh thanks Yuta," Why did that name sound too familiar to Taeyong? He glanced at the waiter again. Yuta looked at him back looking also confused.
They walked to the table in the farthest corner of the coffeeshop. Jaehyun sat on the other side of the table and stared him for some time before speaking up. "You didn't come here just for coffee, am I right? How did you even know where I was?"
"Uh yeah," Why did it sound like Jaehyun didn't want him to know where he was?
"Care to tell me?" Taeyong's eyes wandered down. He was embarrassed once again.
"I- I just...I know you probably think of me as a nuisance or something but...I just wanted to see you and I was lonely. I know it's selfish for me to think that because you have your own life too and I don't even mean anything to you-..."
"Taeyong..." The two weeks he had not seen the other were like torture to Jaehyun. When he had woken up in an empty bed two weeks ago, he was sure that Taeyong wouldn't want anything more between them. That made him cut all the ties to him for hoping to forget his feelings. The opposite happened. All the time, he worried about who he was with and if something was to happen to him, he wouldn't be there to save him unlike that one time.
Now that the boy was sitting in front of him and telling him all the things he never thought he could hear from him, he felt different. Taeyong had looked for him because he had wanted to see him. He had missed him. That's got to mean something.
"You could never be a nuisance to me."
"Huh?" Taeyong lifted his gaze to him again.
"I should've told you when you asked about it but I-...I never meant to use you. You were always more than that for me..." He paused for a moment to think. Taeyong was looking at him with so much expectation and eyes glimmering with hope.
"Here's your coffee," Yuta interrupted them and Taeyong turned his eyes on him. The waiter flashed him a quick smile and that was when he remembered who Yuta was. He stood up abruptly still not believing it.
"Your coffee?" Yuta handed the takeaway cup closer to him and Taeyong reached to take it ignoring the previous thought. Their fingers brushed to each other slightly by the accident but Taeyong freaked out and the cup fell.
"I-I'm sorry," He stuttered and ran out of the coffeeshop having too much things going on in his head at the same time.
"Yuta I'm sorry. I'll be back soon," He rushed out after Taeyong hoping to still find him. It was dark but luckily the street wasn't much crowded.
"Taeyong! Wait!" He touched his shoulder and turned him around. Why was he looking so startled? "Why did you ran out like that?"
"J-Jaehyun he- he touched me,"
"Eh...Yuta?" He was confused. Taeyong nodded slightly. "I'm touching you now too."
"I-It's not the same," Jaehyun knew that but still when the other said it out loud like that, it made blush growing on his cheeks. He felt his heartbeat quicken when he realized what he was going to say next.
"Taeyong...do you know how much I am in love with you?"
"Huh?" Jaehyun drew confused boy in his arms to stop him from saying anything else.
"I shouldn't have let you think that I like someone else when it's you. I'm sorry. I love you Taeyong, I really do," He pressed his lips on the boy's dark hair and caressed his back.
"W-Why? How? I'm-"
"You're perfect. In my eyes, you're the most perfect person I have ever met," He heard sniffling sound close to his neck. Was he crying?
"Are you crying?"
"N-No," Liar. Jaehyun smiled a bit at his cuteness.
"Jaehyunie...I- I think I love you too..."
